@bakersk8r4life there are hundreds maybe thousands of kids that are that good at skateboarding. just cruise your local skateparks. you will find people who could compete in the xgames. but never once sought after a sponsor....getting sponsored alone is the first step to selling out...

its all about how bad they want to get noticed. if they didnt put forth the effort for specific photo shoots and sponsors they wouldnt get noticed.

Thats pretty much the big reason why they have to create an amazing sponsor tape but yeah, I have seen a fair share of people submitting sponsor tapes that are a piece of shit. And all skaters that are sponsored are all in for the fun of skating, but some take a step too far and exploit it.
