well like all people on this page i have the E74 error. First, i tried calling Microsoft and since my warranty expired 2 wks ago they were willing to take 50% off the repair cost. well for me thats a no go, so i tried the towel trick but it didnt work for me. so i called Microsoft again and told them it has 3 blinking red lights and now they are sending me a box and packing slip if this works ill be sure to update all of you. the 3 ring is warranted up to 3 yrs from mfg. date. GOODLUCK!
