  • usually after flying i turn off the batteries and standby power(engines too) after startup when i turn off the apu or grd power all the warnings show that ELEC failed, LOW OIL Pressure FLT cont etc how to get over with it???????????

  • @szpirogyra the simple answer is: you shouldn't be turning off the battery or stby power! you can turn off the APU though after you've transferred power to the engine driven generators :)

  • I was using the NGX SHORT panel state

  • Engine 1 starts for me, but then engine 2 doesn't.

  • How did you get the aircraft in this state? My aircraft always starts with engines on.

  • @AndroidCM NGXCLDDRK panel state (cold and dark). Why is that? So you start engine one but when you select engine 2 to GRD it doesn't start?

  • Can you help? I did EVERYTHING in this video and my engines will NOT spool up!! It's so frustrating!!!

  • @HartsfieldSpotting if you did EVERYTHING in this video and they still don't start then no, I can't help you. Did you turn off the packs?

  • why are you using both engine start right and left???

  • @fsxfallulah Do you mean the Ignition selector switch? To make sure wear is even on both sides :)

  • @FSXpilot767 but you can also only turn left.

    nice video!!1

  • @fsxfallulah Yes, some airlines do that but they always make sure that on the return flight they use only the right one, again, the reason being to reduce wear. Thanks! :D

  • Great tutorial!

All that igniter switching is unnecessary, just leave them in left,if captains leg,or in r/h position if 1st officers leg.

This is to alternate wear on the set.

  • @Chicken57 Thanks! and yeah I know but if you think about it switching them left then right prevents un-even wear on them anyway :P

  • Keep them up

  • Vid

  • This my friend is very good

  • @sportydiva thanks! Make sure you share them! :D

  • Hey

  • Very interesting video. I have the PMDG 737NG for FS2004 (I didn't want to spend CAD$60 for FSX and even more for the NGX since I can just hop in a King Air and do some flying that way), and even though some of your procedures are a bit unorthodox, I respect the fact that you're teaching lesser-experienced simmers to do this.

    Good on you, buddy. :)

  • @TheCriticalCanadian Thanks! Yeah that would cost a lot, and I enjoy teaching people. Which procedures are unorthodox as from where I see it I followed the normal operating procedures quite well.

  • @FSXpilot767 Engine bleeds aren't on for start, fuel is to be introduced at or around 25% N2...just small things. Glad you caught the packs, though.

Just stating, man. No shit-talk intended. :)

  • @TheCriticalCanadian think: are engine bleeds required for start? NO! The engine bleeds are turned on when air needs to be supplied BY the engines. For start-up this air is provided by the APU hence why the APU bleed is on. The fuel around 25% was late because I was talking unfortunately but it didn't make any difference. :)

  • @FSXpilot767 I see; I thought the bleeds provided air to the core to start the engines. Then again, I've never flown the NG in real life. Closest turbine-rated airplane I've flown is the King Air 350, and that thing doesn't have an APU nor a complex pneumatics system.

  • @TheCriticalCanadian Nope, the bleeds refer to what is supplying the air to the system and I've only flown single engined aircraft as I'm only just about to turn 16! I'll fly a glider solo in a few months though :P

  • @FSXpilot767 Interesting. At least we're not screaming at each other saying "no, you're wrong" like a bunch of babies over a trivial matter.

Glad to see that people like us (civilized humans) are still on YouTube.

  • @TheCriticalCanadian Yeah, 99% of the time I try to make disagreements turn out a positive thing like this one but ocasionally I just get people who swear in capitals and they just can't be helped. I'm glad about that too!

  • @FSXpilot767 Excellent.

  • Hey it is a very nice video, but why don't you get the tss 737 ng sound? it is very realistic.

  • @mario737ify I've never heard of it? Is it for the NGX? Because the NGX has by far the best sounds of ANY FSX airliner already and I simply couldn't imagine them improved!! :OP

  • perfect for one more time =) how much frames o a rainny day?

  • @DHMaNiAc770 thanks! :D around 30-45 :)

  • @FSXpilot767 ahhh you are killing me me around 22 low settings and night

  • VERY good buddy

  • @diamond21450 Thanks, glad I could help :)

  • What program do you use to make switching between the views seamless like that?

  • @MavericStephenc its called EzDok. I'd highly recommend it, it also introduces other effects when moving on the ground and in the air such as vibration. Check out my crosswind landing tutorial because it shows it in-action both in turbulent conditions in the air and on the ground :) Thanks for watching! :D

  • need help here

every time i programm the fmc routes it shows route discontinuity in it i cannt program an fmc route need help with that

  • @szpirogyra don't worry, I will make some tutorials this weekend and upload them Sunday/early next week. The second or third one I make will cover this. In the mean time, go to the LEGS page and select the next waypoint on the route (below the boxes) and then select the boxes and then click the EXECute button :) Thanks for watching :)

  • Very Nice video dude! But for engine start .. It's important, that you set the fuel flow switch to idle at around 23 % N2. Because it takes a while to get into the engine and start burning .. At least in RL it's like that. And Both Engine Bleeds have to be turned on after startup :)

Other than that .. Good job!

  • @Flusi888 yeah, I rushed this video and realised before uploading but didn't have time to make a new version. As for the fuel flow switches it does say 25% in the manual but I take your word for it because they do take a few seconds to kick in. Thanks a lot for watching! :)

  • ¿After that engines should be put to continiuos ingnition for take off?

If you have a bird strike during take off it's better to have continious also for landing and bad weather.

APU bleed off and engine bleed 1-2 for operations if I'm not mistaken

  • @FernandoEstebanEsteb Usually just before takeoff but in wet weather they can also be turned on in the taxi. Also I forgot about the bleeds and packs in this tutorial, sorry. Thanks for watching!! :D

  • Does the fmc have a feature that allows you to use fs plans like the md11 . I want to create a flight in fs and use it in the fmc without builing one from 0

  • @CaptainSazzman I think they are making that feature for an update in the not too distant future but you can save 'company routes' which is basically the same thing: you enter the route fully the first time and it is then saved in the FMC with a certain code name which you can enter in the future so the whole route is instantly loaded (this is how it's done in real life) Hope this helps! :)

  • @FSXpilot767 I hope they do it soon. I dont know and have the time to set up proper flight plans. Im used to entering the plan and making the fmc take it from my fsx. Now i just enter the destionation airport's vor/dme and fly directly which isnt too accurate but it flies the plane.

  • @CaptainSazzman creating a route only takes seconds! In episode 5ish of my series on the NGX I will show a full FMC set-up. When you know it like the back of your hand it can be done in under 1 minute so watch out for that tutorial. Also the 'company route' feature is basically the same thing as the FS flightplan option its just you will have to enter the full route the first time you fly it :)

  • nice I subbed :)

  • @VivaLaEmil1 Thanks a lot!! :D

  • @VivaLaEmil1 Hello can you recomend me another program for flight planing i use FSBuild 2.2 but i whant to try others and Navigraph nDAC 3 for charts... Also please it wold be good a tutorial for SIDS and STARS Thanks.

  • @FernandoEstebanEsteb I have no idea, sorry :/

  • Good video. A question. Why do you switch ignition for each start instead of using just left or right?

  • @foslcraft1 Clearly you know what you're doing!! :D Yes, it's true that in reality the crew will use just L or R on the outbound leg and the opposite on the way back, but I thought that for this particular procedure there would be no harm in changing it so that it was easier to remember for less experienced simmers (left for left engine, right for right engine). If I remember rightly some airlines use this procedure just to make sure one doesn't get more worn than the other. Thanks for watching!

  • Can you tell me why the FMC fails causing the autopilot to switch off and the aircraft lights don't work after I switch the engines off. For some annoying reason they do not come back on when the are switched on again. Do you know how to fix this?

  • @prussell890 This is a very confusing question but I'm sure I can help! The autopilots shouldn't ever be needed when the engines are off and cannot operate without the engines on. Which aircraft lights do you mean? Do you have the APU started and supplying electrical power to the aircraft before you shutdown? What you've always got to remember with the NGX is it is as accurate as you'll ever get so if there is a problem it is not the software!:P Message me more details so I can fix it for you :D

  • Can I have your ENB? (:

  • @DeadlyInertia yes!, if you can you remind me what the files are called?? There are two of them but my FSX folder has hundreds. Also until saturday my pc is in repair as it has a virus. Message me your email and then remind me on saturday to send them to you, thanks for watching and I hope I can help you! :)

  • @FSXpilot767 Hi, there is one file in particilar called enbseries.ini

That's all I will need and I will PM you my Email for the sake of my Privacy >_<

Amazing work on the Tut By the way (:

  • @DeadlyInertia yep, I would only expect you to message me it! :) and thanks a lot for watching and showing interest in my video! :D

  • When ever i choose to start the right engine (Always right after i started left engine) it says config in the middel fuel tank and the n2 wont go up, what am i doing wrong?

  • @50CENT123434 I always start right after left as all the airlines I have personally seen do this. If the centre tank has fuel in it the pumps should be on if not they should be off, does this help? If not message me :)

  • @FSXpilot767 Well the tank is filled up and my Left engine always goes to life, no matter what i do i cant get the right engine up and working. It just wont rise the n2.

  • @FSXpilot767 And Btw is it the Ezdok camera addon that does the shaking and that when you land :-) ?

  • Thanks for the vid, thats first thing :) and can i ask, what the yaw dumper and the left and right pack? Also, do you switch in the take off the motors to continuos mode? Thanks :)

  • @discojockey007 thanks!! :D yaw damper corrects dutch roll effect which occurs on all swept wing aircraft (what I talked about in the video when I said you needed to apply opposite aileron to rudder to keep the wings level i.e as yaw is applied the aircraft also rolls), the air conditioning packs provide conditioned air to the cabin. Yes, you switch the ignition switches to CONTinuos for takeoff and initial climb. Hope this helped, thanks for watching!! :D

  • @FSXpilot767 Yeah, thanks alot. Would be fine if you would make a tut like hour :P and show from Cold and dark to the take off and sa what does each button do and why you press him, for example swith the motors to Cont in case of bird strike. Thanks anyway!

  • @discojockey007 yeah maybe I should do that, how long would it take to upload in 1080p though?? LOL xD

  • @FSXpilot767 Yeah xD, but it would be awesome. I learned some basics with the plane but still i know pretty much nothing compared to you :D

  • @discojockey007 maybe I should do that :) and I've made a non-precision approach (VOR or NDB) tutorial and am currently editting it :)

  • @FSXpilot767 Great! Waiting for upload :)

  • @discojockey007 should be some point tomorrow afternoon as I have now finished editting it and will start the upload early tomorrow morning (im not sleeping for the second night in a row with the computer next to me uploading!!) :P

  • @FSXpilot767 Yeah i know, i often render something and my computer is shouting next to my head :D

  • @discojockey007 lol! I'll start it at 6am when I get up for school, it should take around 10 hours to upload! :)

  • @FSXpilot767 :)

  • Nice work man!!!

  • @bkingair350 thanks a lot!!! :)

  • Great video! sorry for my bunch of questions but, how come you cannot engage autopilot right away after take off? I'd have to climb and navigate manually and simultaneously click on the auto pilot until it engages, do you know the reason for this?

  • @ikellay Thanks! :D it's fine im more than happy to help about anything, I can make more tutorials as well if you like :)

The autopilot on all Boeing 737s can only operate above 1000ft (except when both are engaged for autoland). In addition, you must have all the controls centred to engage it so make sure the aircraft is trimmed correctly at all times. The manual recommends flying manually until 3000ft (arm LNAV + VNAV before takeoff and follow the FD command bars)

    Hope this helps! :)

  • great video!

  • @mrflagnard thanks!! :D

  • Is it the real procedure ?

  • @SKApuNx2711 well its what the boeing 737 manual says so the simple answer would be yes! :P

  • btw, does it start with the engines on if you have that settings,

or how do i make the aircraft start with the negines turned of :D?

    plz reply!

  • @MovieMakers59 Thanks a lot! :D and by default it starts with the engine sand all systems on :)

  • very good!

    love your vids!

  • Thank you! Another great tutorial :)

  • @50CENT123434 thanks a lot, more on the way very shortly! :D
