We can normally get a crew to the station and roll shortly after the second dispatch (sometimes before, sometimes later depending on who is home at the time
). The way our dispatch system works, the second round of dispatch comes 4-5 minutes after primary and 3-4 minutes after second dispatch is when units may get start to get replaced if no response or availability is noted. I would say average primary dispatch to responding would be about 6-7 minutes, assuming everyone is at home that day.

ummm except no one there had there full bunker gear on, never put a nomex hood on, and should be over your head under your helmet.

so from the time ur pager goes off at home, how long does it take u guys to get to station get dressed and respond?
