Would have been a bit better if you had some older people cast as some of the characters; seeing teens (or early twenties) as the Joker and Batman was quite distracting. Nice work for a student film however.

I didn't like The Joker but everything else was very good. The suit was done very well.

The Joker's not an easy character to get right, for me at least. Very few have done him justice in live action so I wouldn't take my comment as anything bad. Personally, I would have just avoided him altogether, Scarecrow would have been easier and still have a menacing impact.

@filahohi Ledger was never The Joker. He played some deranged scar-faced clown with long hair. That was not the DC character whatsoever.

If he "took it to a whole new level", it certainly is a level that has nothing to do with the original character. The actor in this video is 1000 times closer to the DC Joker than Ledger ever was.

I could even say that Ledger was a disgrace to the true Batman fans.

@hodoboc Then you'd be gravely mistaken. Anything 'Nolanverse' is supposed to be a modern more realistic take on the Batman story. Ledger focused on the Jokers psychopathic side rather than the side that used jokes and silly gags.

Personally I think the Joker should be somewhere in the middle between the silly gags and the psychopath, but for the type of film Ledger was cast in he played the Joker perfectly. Better than Bale has played the Batman.

this wasn't really a fan made project that we could do in our own time. it was a college project where we were graded on the paperwork aspect of things (script storyboard marketing ect) so we had a very limited time to write, make and cut the video. hope this explains a couple of questions out there
