  • hey man

sick video bro:) hey mate what setup do you use and bait ?

  • @fishobro2443

Mostly use 10-12ft rods and Penn 950 spinning reels with 30-50lb mono. Simple paternoster style rig with two or three 5/0 hooks and a large grapple sinker. We take squid, salmon, tommies, pilchard etc for bait. (You can catch salmon and tommies over there fairly easily). Heading over there again soon so stay tuned...

  • coorong......for massive mulloway!!!! good fishing spot eyr peninsula...well done on the photos boys...SHout out from the mulloway boys adelaide..

  • I should try the coorong more. I always run into weed there tho. Heading back towards Yalata in a couple weeks actually. I hope to bring back a reel big mully (50lb+) and some more picture/video action! Cheers.

  • yeah champ the weed sux...depends on whats happening with the wind...coorong produces some monsters mullys's but...im putting together my mully video at the moment.....i guess it gna be a west for east MULLOWAY COMP.....hahahaha......p.s.....enjoy yalata and stay safe....no wading.....!!

  • just watched again! this is awsome, how long was that last big mullie in the vid and the very first mullie in the vid?

  • We went back there 08/09 and didnt hook on the same. Caught some massive salmon tho. Not sure of lengths of those two mullies now but the last one was around 50 pound! The snapper was 76cm off the beach!

    regards,

    SSS1600.

  • awsome mullies and eaglie! fwc looks awsome

  • Awesome photos mate.

Keeping it low profile my two left foot!

Sif most have the gear capable of landing those jewies!

    Is good fellas.

  • Thanks for the comments.

Cant wait to get back there this summer! (08/09).

Will be taking a video camera with us this time so stay tuned for more fishing action...

  • great vid keep up the good work !

  • nice place , best fishing , the Rangers are nice guys , Jeramy Leboys the expert in the area ,

  • rape a pilage like usual!!!

im assuming most of those fish went back into the drink.

im not a greeny by any stretch but if ya keep taking wats gunna be left (not aiming at you but in general)

im form yorkes the sames been done there everyone takes more then they want and it fucked it for everyone.

so yeah best to keep this spot low profile.

  • These pics were taken at ten or more different places on the eyre peninsular. Yalata was just one of the places we fished at.

We kept and ate the snapper only. All other fish were returned to the water, even that big mulloway.

WTF are you going on about raping and pillaging?!?!

This video is for my two friends and i to store the memory of what a great fishing/camping trip we had that year to the eyre peninsular in general, not to advertise any place in particular and ruin it for others...

  • ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz boring!

  • yer, my uncle got a 72 pound mullaway on ya steave

  • dude glad you enjoyed it but a good tip would be to keep the place a bit more low profile!

  • It looks like ill be over there from the 2nd of January so i hope both of you leave me some fish....

  • Thanks for the fotos, pity about that crap in the middle of each one. I'll be there for the 7th time in Nov 06... woo hoo! BTW Yalata ain't on Eyre Peninsula. It's known as the Far West Coast... Truly wild country...

  • I had to use a free video converter to resize the movie, sorry. I'm heading back there again around christmas time too. Make sure you leave me some fish. :)

  • No apologies needed, I still enjoyed it.Thanks for uploading.
