why is it so hard to find a flat, empty map similar to gm_flatgrass for gmod? almost EVERYONE seems to have one but there is nowhere to get one

He`s in the editor you know....just type few magic things in the console and its way more smoother, regardless of the Cpu speed...

first type into console

con_restricted 0

fixed_time_step 0.033333

and capture_frames 1 to start recording frames.

the actual fps might even be 2fps or something.

when you are finished just type in capture_frames 0

when u look at your crysis folder there's a folder called capture output. now there should be a lot of pictures.now you need to download VirtualDub to put the pictures together to a movie.(file>open video file) now open the frame 000000 and it should open all the pictures to a movie.

and i forgot...when u have a lot of stuff collapsing just use ''sys_physics_CPU 0'' command. of course without the '' :)

and in virtualdub. u can change the playback framerate with ctrl+R

No, it's rendered. The code doesn't make it smoother in realtime, only when you render it.
