  • Having 1 beer and not getting drunk, could that not be equated to smoking 1 hit off a joint and getting a small buzz and not getting high? Or are we to assume that given any drug besides alcohol there lies no margin of moderation?

  • If drugs were legal you could buy them so you wouldn't get to the phase where you'd kill to get your drug.

  • killed the dog

  • "You shoot up heroin and go out of your mind"

That's simply not true whatsoever. You shoot up heroin and become happy and docile. People need to stop thinking that all drugs turn people into raving lunatics...

  • Hannity = pussy

    Heineken Light, dude? Really?

  • Wow, the liberal media never shows this guy. He is a credit to fox news. Too bad the rest of fox sucks.

  • Im sick of evryone saying "well if drugs were leagalize we would have crack addict running the streets" we already have that but instead with gangs slaughtering people, prisons turning people into violent offenders , bureracy, drug lords withthere own militia. I would take acrackhead over that.

  • "if they really wanted to stop em and get these guys, they could do it"

no. no no no no. drugs ARE coming into the country hannity, no amount of legislation or law enforcement is going to stop it. in fact the more legislation and the more law enforcement that there is, the more powerful organized crime groups will become. the harder the drugs are to get into the country, the more they're going to cost, the richer the criminals get. very simple

  • holy fuck that is one fat ass joint!!!!!!!

  • where in the video is the fat ass joint? Is it ur fat azz mother?

  • I never thought I would actually agree with a Fox News anchor.

  • STUDY: Alcohol more dangerous than Heroin/Crack/Meth/Cannabis/LSD. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11660210

  • why does the weed subject always go hand in hand with a fuckin non related subject????

  • stossel is the man

  • This is "Fox Business"... not the propaganda-filled Faux News with people like O'reilly and Hannity spewing out corporate agendas.

  • really? this is fox?

  • I'd legalize it just because they shot their dog. Fuck those people!

  • Crack cocaine users would kill to get more crack...

Sounds like all the more reason to legalize the stuff. Not that anyone should be putting it into their bodies but I'm more concerned about heavily armed DEA officers killing my dog than a contented crackhead. I say this living in Brooklyn.

  • Something intelligent on Fox? NO WAY! I'm impressed.

  • We do not own our bodies anymore!!!

We have a social responsibility: work/labor so we can pay taxes, and not place our health, or relations as that may place cost on society and drain the funds that we as well as others contribute to the system.

We must outlaw Soda, burgers, Ice Cream, Alcohol, Tobacco, and anything else that may jeopardize our contributions to the whole. The Collective if you must.

We, in other words are like cattle, or sheep, or better yet: Sheeple!!!

  • "It's the law that causes the crime."

  • wow I cant help but notice how hannity thinks how funny this is ,headless people .inocents being murdered ,and he laughs about it ,is it really funny people ,these bastard sit here and laugh about our soldiers getting killed ,the gop and bush screwing up the economy ,and they find this all funny ,tell me people do you find this all funny

  • Its fa

  • HOLY FUCK!!! 0:31 that was a big fucking joint

  • I could get xanax, vicodin and percocet much easier than alcohol and even tobacco in high school.

I know friends who started using vicodin and xanax after being put on drug testing programs because they had the gall to sign up for the swim team and play football (as if banning kids from sports helps them somehow). Marijuana can be detected for a month- xanax and opiates like vicodin, a day or two with one time use, three days with constant use, and drinking water brings that down to hours.

  • Why the FUCK did they kill the family dog? FUCK WHOEVER DID THAT!

  • @BraDRoBBo much respect man, i love dogs, it made me mad too

  • if they just realized if they legalized people won't do it as much after a couple years... the main reason we do drugs is because its against the law.. either way drugs are staying weather they make it legal or not..

  • Never thought i would see something that actually made sense on fox news.

  • Marijuana is still ignorantly call a drug. It is not. As Hanity said he would favor marjuana almost! Well u know good and well he is in favor of it so y can't he say so? Because he is a spokesmen for the right. But get the point. marijuana should stop being classified as a drug mixed in with all the real drugs. The police don't run in people's houses to kill the dog because of small amounts of people's personal use. That is a damn lie! People need to legalize marijuana, and talk true issues!

  • so what youre saying is drink your drug and bcoz its safer. is that the same drug who kills hundred of thousands of people while driving. but dont take crack bcoz maybe just maybe somebody might get rob. i hope your kid gets ran over by a drunk driver. im dont with hannity

  • FOX must be tapping into other political marketing segments to be investing their time in such an atypically neutral program. Do their fat cat overseers see the times changing soon?

  • EVERYONE SEARCH: Cured: A Cannabis Story (A film by David Triplett)

    SPREAD THE LINK!!!

GOOD LUCK CALI 2010, MAY GOD HELP US PASS IT TO SAVE LIFES.

  • I think a few are missing a big point... Prohibition doesn't prevent anybody from using and creates violence. Even if you are against drugs you should be for legalization! Countries that have total legalization of drugs actually have lower usage than the US where it is highly illegal and controlled!. Dont hold your personal emotions into it, think logically. Even if you are against drugs! it does not work so we should legalize and educate! That is true prevention!

  • So when Hannity spews lies they become facts sure, just like the cop who busted me and I proved he lied but the judge did not care, the judge ruined my life more than cannabis a thousand times over. In fact if it was not for the lying cops cannabis improved my life. Police State is based on lies. Thank you John Stossel.

  • @wiscokiddd Cannabis will improve anyones life! thnx

  • I love your vids man Keep them up we might get some where one day.

  • so, how does hannity know that "the moment u smoke crack u r out of your mind"?, if he hasn't tried it then he is FULL OF SHIT, yeah crack is bad but it doesn't make u crazy instantly

  • Where's the rest of this?

  • Addiction DOES NOT CAUSE CRIME. The black market prices cause crime. If Opium were legal, it wouldn't be worth more than gold anymore...

  • Hypocrite! He likes a beer. So when it comes to ingesting HIS choice of drug he's all aof a sudden a leibertarian. WhenI come to imbibing mine, he's a douche. .... FUCK OFF. WHo cares what the law says. They can't control it until they CONTROL IT!! ..... Fucking DUMB ASSES!!!!!!

  • The drug trade is just a game, and the FBI and CIA are just players like the rest of the big guys.

  • @Jrezky Too bad most people don't realize this

  • GIMME DAT SHIIET BOY

  • Beware anti-drug people because if you keep pushing us drug users to the edge your worst nightmares will come true. Remember a crack head with a hand gun is more dangerous than a straight person with one. I hope all the anti-drug people feel the same pain I've felt over the years, slowly you will be cut up alive and fed to the dogs.

  • Ok, why did people put their hands down between heroin and ex? Heroin is the hardest drug there is - if Heroin is going to be legal, everything should be legal.

Audience is a bunch of idiots.

  • Excellent to see this posted here as I had just finished watching it on TV.

  • old dude in audience supports crack, heroin but not ecstasy

  • Yea but that's probably because he doesn't know anything about it and saying ecstasy at the end makes it seem like a more heavy drug than it is.

Ecstasy is quite interesting and I have mixed feelings towards it. It's easy to overdose on (at least during the circumstances which it's used), with quite severe outcomes to follow.

It's definitely a lethal drug but it's not addictive and soul destroying like Heroin is. Having seen an ecstasy OD first hand I may be a bit biased against it, idkn.

  • @BudgetPhoenix hahahaha i totally noticed that funny stuff

  • @BudgetPhoenix Because he might break his hip at a rave.

  • @BudgetPhoenix lol yeah

  • @BudgetPhoenix i guess they never tried it...

  • Non-addictive drugs, I'm all for their legalisation. The soul destroying stuff like heroine and such, big no-no. That stuff can and not seldomly will render people into completely non-functional human beings. You may just aswell amputate their limbs.

Sure, alcohol can do that too but it's already well established into our culture. We can't afford that to happen with the heavier drugs.

  • @s4jt why is it any of your business what those people do?

  • Because it's society that needs to care for them. It becomes my business when these people break into my house and steal my things.

If someone wants to get high on weed or trip on LSD that's none of my concern, that perso is not doing me any harm or costing society a lot of money that I have part in paying for.

  • ... ^^

  • @s4jt what reason would they have to break into your house if it was legal? crackheads steal is to fund their addiction, and the reason their addiction is so expensive is because its illegal. how often do you hear about people robbing homes for liquor money?

  • Because a junkie is not able to hold a job, much less pay the bills. It's no different than an heavy alcoholic.

  • "The moment he smoked it.. he was cooked.. HOOKED"

  • It's obvious to anyone who is willing to objectively look at the evidence that the Drug War is an utter failure. The data shows that the majority of Americans have experimented with illegal drugs. As Stossel points out, prohibition has never worked and never will work. The Drug War just destroys lives, creates violent gangs and cartels, creates a dangerous black market & is immensely expensive. Anyways, half of the drug overdoses are from legal prescriptions.

  • That is amazing. Real journalism and intelligent debate on Fox News!

If we legalized drugs, the US gangs and the Mexican cartels would lose their main revenue and with it most of the violence would stop and most of the smuggling across the border would stop. Furthermore, many of the ordinary Mexican citizens would stop illegally entering the US since they wouldn't have to escape the violence in their own country that our country is causing by having a War on Drugs.

  • @MarmaladeINFP Exactly the thing is if we have done that exact same thing to Tobacco products and Alcohol products there would be drug war oon them too. Because everytime they make something illegal or when something has a rule against it more people tend to fight harder to have it. You dont see people fight over Over the Counter drug medicine because its legal and theres no reason for people to fight over it when they can just go to the nearest CVS and buy it

  • @MarmaladeINFP I think the thing is the Law Enforcement makes so much money off of Illegal drug bust that most of there pay comes from the money they steal from the drugdealers and they dont want to lose that revenue because that is a big income to them

  • @ruffhouse00x The military-industrial complex has, through the War on Drugs, been expanded to include a prison-industrial complex. Many depts of govt make money from confiscated property & wealth. Many towns & private contractors make money by running prisons. In terms of decreasing the drug trade & use, it's a complete failure since both have been decreasing over time. For example, a majority of Americans have used pot. In schools, the biggest drug problem is actually with prescription drugs.

  • Ya'll see the difference between a REAL JOURNALIST John Stossel Vs. a BIG FAT PHONEY llke Hannity.

  • @elvgero15 I've definitely seen worse debaters than Hannity, but ain't it funny how the anti-legalization side uses so much emotional hype and fear mongoring tactics in their arguing? I love how John Stossel is willing to give and take and doesn't resort to the plea to emotion.

  • Over 22,000 people killed in six years of the Mexican Drug War..... nothing silly about the legalization effort

  • It's good to know that the Walt Disney stock is up.

  • John Stossel is a champion for liberty, just as our forefathers lived. They didn't stand for tyranny and dracocian drug laws. They had more sense than that.

As long as you don't do harm to others or yourself, you should be allowed to do whatever you want with your own body in the privacy of your own home.

  • Hannity is wrong about this 'instantaneous psychosis from hard-drug use' (the psychosis comes on gradually after chronic use) and it's also false to say 'there are hard-drugs & then there is alcohol'... alcohol is a hard-drug, meaning, it causes brain damage. Cannabis is a soft-drug, & does not cause brain damage. Drug legalisation in conjunction with drug education should happen, along with democratic socialism, for the best nation possible. Smart people don't hurt themselves afterall.

  • @tobynsaunders indeed! Nevermind the fact that prescription drugs are barely mentioned, despite the fact that our society is very complacent about drugs prescribed by a doctor, or ones bought over the counter. These days, drugs aren't often respected as much as they should be, and it's seen in the fact that many people turn to drugs quickly to relieve their various symptoms, be it colds or headaches, etc, and in doing that we teach the next generation that drugs don't need real respect.

  • MMMMMMMMMMM tasty tasty tasty weed

  • i love it when it gets to these moments where fox stops being restarted, way to go! oh and when someone says its addicting so it will cause crime, perhaps, but that's only because its illegal, when its illegal its so hard to afford your crack, but look at cigarettes, its proven its the most addicting substance out there, people aren't killing each other over it, because they can buy it no problem, but with crack or heroin, its so expensive and valuable, people find it worth killing other for.

  • If the real problem stems from ADDICTION, shouldn't they be sending addicts to a hospital not a prison?

  • @kirkus24 uh they'd have to admit then that it's rather a medical issue and give up their voodoo pharmacology LOL

  • @kirkus24 Voodoo pharmacology is that strange blend of hysteria, myth, and agenda-driven public pronouncements [...] that, unfortunately, passes for a reasoned discussion of the effects of different controlled substances these days. Voodoo pharmacology knows that alcohol is not a drug, that taking Prozac to feel better is a medical decision but taking Ecstasy to feel better is a crime, and that the first toke or the first pill is the first step on an inevitable path to chemically-induced hell."

  • @kirkus24 and often, addiction or use in general has a lot to do with a person's view of their life. The drugs serve a purpose in themselves without considering the addiction, and ignoring that fact means sure, you might get them to quit THAT particular drug, but many still have issues in their lives they're not addressing in a healthy manner and they'll just change their addiction to something else to run away from the problems, or boredom.

  • 3:27 how bout owned? don't mess with the stossel.

  • Hannity's argument is moot. The honest question here is WHY ARE WE ABUSING THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO *CAN* HANDLE DRUGS, FOR THE SAKE OF A SMALL FEW WHO CANNOT? It's like saying that because some people kill people with scissors, we should outlaw scissors and break people's doors down for possessing them, then shoot their dogs, scare their kids, and ruin their lives. THE WAR ON DRUGS MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!!! Legalize, regulate, tax, and EDUCATE. It's the only answer.

  • @PlayTilTheyBleed agreed! nevermind the fact that there are plenty of fatties in our society - people who eat poorly, teach their kids to eat poorly, don't exercise, and turn to pharmaceuticals to deal with problems that better eating and exercise would address just as well, with other benefits on the side. Take away the donuts? Oh nooes!

  • smells like freedom

  • people are starting to get!

  • amsterdam statistics = blatantly false.

  • @TheUnion5 there is a great video called; amsterdam - how bad is there drug problem (kind of a misleading title since the vid shows they dont have a bad problem lol)
