Oh, I love the song. It's interesting that Elphaba's vision about the celebration was actually pretty close to what happened when she "melted". And the line "When people see me they will scream". That actually happened. It's also very sad that it happened that way. Poor Elphaba.

no they arent. most broadway musicals dont release their rights until after thier show has left broadway, and considering how successful wicked is that will probably be a long time from now

there is this thing called relive... its not the best tasting thing in the world... but its not horrible. i live on it when im in a show it keeps u healthy and it really helps your voice. it takes care of your throat. if you are trying to belt a song like thing for say an audition or show i would consider look into relive.... its saved my butt on many occasions...

the best thing to do to expand ur range and how well you sound, you should vocalize. Just do some scales for about 5-10 minutes a day and you will see improvement. Just don't do the same thing every time, or your voice will get used to it. Try to make a schedule, like "do this on monday, do that on tuesday..." etc. And me too! My dream is to be on broadway! and we're the same age too and want to go to the same college. haha. what a coincidence!

Best advice is, warm up a lot. Push your voice just enough that you don't overdo it. Just exercise your chords, and after a while it gets easier. As BroadwayBabeify said, expand your range; you should probably do that before you try to belt, and even then only belt the notes that you can hit cleanly. Again, it gets easier with time.

um,just take a big belly breath-dont beath through your chest.and not just for that last note, but like all the time, cause it helps your breath control SO MUCH. like your not straining 2 hold out notes, and plus u can project a lot more too. and also,open your mouth and drop your jaw.and also-especially for the last note-dont let all your air out at the beginning of the note, be very aware of that and i promise u, you will c the improvement, well good luck! hope to see u on broadway someday!lol

and as for foods, don't eat a lot of dairy cause that will really clog up your throat,and just remember to drink lots of water! oh, and one more thing, don't use your throat (and by that i mean your muscles in your throat) when u sing, use your diaphram, cause that can really strain your voice. well, hope i helped and i hope u can hit the last note soon!

Your school cant do it because the rights have not come out yet. Whenever wicked becomes less popular then the rights might come out. The rights for les mis came out a few years ago and les mis has been around for over 20 years.
