Thank god that this is finally an option. I, as a flight attendant, feel much safer now that the govt is thinking about the flight crew and not just the passengers now. I have suffered multiple cases of physical abuse, mostly from male passengers. Most recent being punched in the stomach by a male which his bag wouldn't fit in the overhead bin and he was in the bulkhead so he had no seat to put it under and the flight was full. simple. just stop to fiddle with a computer to find the correct ID number for your suspect in the middle of a hijacking. this works really well because unlike taking over cockpits and stewardesses, taking over a computer hub that contains ID numbers is extremely challenging if not impossible.

I know that that isn't the American way, but for once think about someone besides yourself and also think of ALL of the uses. This isn't just for safety, it's also easier for passengers with connections or unaccompanied minors. You don't have to worry about losing your connecting flight boarding ticket. UM's information is saved right there in case they run away. It is genius!

Thank god that this is finally an option. I, as a flight attendant, feel much safer now that the govt is thinking about the flight crew and not just the passengers now. I have suffered multiple cases of physical abuse, mostly from male passengers. Most recent being punched in the stomach by a male which his bag wouldn't fit in the overhead bin and he was in the bulkhead so he had no seat to put it under and the flight was full. It is NEVER okay to abuse someone just because you cant get your way

How about dividing the inside of airplanes into small 1-person cells with locks? Then before the flight, all passengers are stripped, male, female and children separated, cattle-prodded into the plane, put in the cells and sedated via individual catheters. For additional security, electrodes are placed in the rectum and mouth and on the temples.

3. put a piece off dark material around it to avoid laser activation and activate a radio signal blocker to avoid radio activation, or...
any other way that they (terrorist's) will probably come up with... and they probably will!
