im still having trouble with the lack of continuity where his age is concerned. in sylvester mccoys very first episode he states that he and the rani are the same age... 953. then i rememeber its just a tv show and i move on....

too bad that fifty years the show might be over with. we are going into the 11th doctor which means after him there's only 2 more doctors unless he surpasses his Reincarnation limit...

Unfortunately no. The 12 regeneration limit is a canon fact in the show. The only way to keep the show running is to make an episode where the Doctor finds out how to surpass his limit just like The Master.
