Girl!!! I love this video... You are going to be just fine in your process of taking down your locs!Your hair is so healthy in this video... loose or loc'ed - very healthy... awesome video! Inspirational indeed!!
@sb7903 Thank you. One thing that my entire hair journey has taught me is that beauty real is about YOU and not what the world thinks you should be. Stay focused on your journey sis.
How did you get rid of the two strand look at the ends. I want to lock my loose natural hair, but I have seen the way the twists differ on the ends and I don't really like the look.
@bp00327 For that look to go away, it takes time, The texture determines how long it will take for that look to go away. If the texture is very loose/wavy, it may take a few years, if at all. If the texture is kinkier, then it may take up two years or more. You can also clip the ends once the locs have formed well on the majority of the loc. I hope this helps.
I have been searching for videos with naturals who loc'd after a while. I am about to do the same thing, my last relaxer was Jan09 and the maintenance has been unreal. So glad to see how successful yours have been!
@SadiquaP Yes! Welcome aboard. I'm still excited about the journey and seeing how my locs will evolve over the next couple of years. One of the reasons that I decided to loc was because of the long detangling/maintenance sessions. So I really do understand.
