HI MR,,Ty for this video...i want heelp:(((dude,,i have some units,,and i have this TSL 122 too..i dont know how i can series my Units and How i can Use two SEND and Return on TSL 122,,my equipment is:Dd7 Boss.Digital reverb, super Chorus, compression sustainer,,metal zone,,ROLAND GR 55..i want to series this units with roland gr 55,,How i must do that?(in Correct WAY i mean)and how i must use those send and return?another question,,what is EMULATED line out?can i record something instead of mic?
Why would you use a GT-8 for distortion when the TSL is a 1000 dollar amp high gain amp. I can understand using the effects but this demo sounds like crap
When I first bought a TSL 100 head it crapped out on me within a couple weeks. But they replaced the amp and gave me a brand new one. Since then, I've had no problems other than the reverb indicator light failing to work on the footswitch on occasion. It's a great amp, and very underrated in my view.
In short, careful eq manipulation. I place my eq post gain so I can shape with more subtlety and put a slight boost at 3.15k (that's the maximum clarity frequency for guitar). I've put the frequency down to 2.50 or so with a wider q value so it's warmer but still clear. I also cut all frequencies above 4k. They're just harsh and unnecessary. 5k is supposedly the most grating frequency to the human ear so it's generally always a plus to remove it.
Well, the 601 is a 60 watt so the only real difference in loudness would be perception of clean headroom. The 601 will break up earlier than the 122, but that's about it. Late night practicing is tricky though because of the sound spread of the amp. The 122 will fill up a room with sound effortlessly, even when its volume is set low. Thats pretty much what happens when you use a 212 cab. Late night tube tone is probably best left to something like the bumbox.
i was wonderin, with the tsl 122 (im thinkin about buyin 1) can it go quiet enough for late at night practisin?? i mean really quiet , i do understand it doesent sound as gd like that but can it???? and it has 2 extra el34's than the tsl 601, wat does that do 2 it? does it make it sound better?
I have a TSL 100 watt head and I play it through a Mesa 2X12 and Bogner 2X12 simultaneously, and I can play it at very quiet volumes and still get great sounds. It has a "VPR" switch which effectively reduces the power to 25 watts. My recollection is that the 60 watt version does not have a VPR switch.

lol a pedal is supposed to enhance the sound, and the quality video made it worse(jk)

dont forget 1 thing the 122 has the 601/2 doesnt... a VPR button, virtual power reduction button.
makes a 100W turn into a 'saturated' 25W, which is still seriously loud.
