Great idea. Cameras help with renter's and home owner's insurance claims. A good hiding place is inside an non-functional porch light or hole in a wall.

yeah the probleme with wireless is anyone can tune in the signal and see what your cams see so dont put one in your bedroom or living room

Now your talking my language. Ive been in the security/locksmith/access control field for 23 years. Keep in mind that you should only use color cameras if your going to ever use recorded evidence. Reason for it is if an eyewitness gives a description of someone in a green shirt and you cant tell in a black & white video that the shirt is green it will not hold up. A good defense lawyer will say, can you prove that shirt is green. Its happened!! Trust me.
