@randytune88 this is a dana 70 U rear end. Has the smooth housing, and uses the same cover as the dana 60. But sence the 60 has a smaller housing you will have a lip around much of the cover on the 70. I do. The books dont say so, but its been found a lot to see a dana 70 factory on f250s. My other 85 has a 460, and it has a dana 70 U also.

could be a 44 dana 60s where on the f350s unless they swaped that one on u my 85 6.9 had a 44 but it wasnt a extended cab maybe idk.

Caterpillar red gasket maker works perfect for diff covers. That's what I used on my rear axle.

gear oil is the WORSE! you get that smell in your nose and just cant get it out.

They are really good for open places. But not so good is tight spots. They just help so you dont have to find sizes all over the place.

i have 1 i love it,its nice for changing oil,you never know what size the drain plug is when you flip cars all the time
