Without God I get so lost and out of control...I get so stupid in my wisdom and lose all control and I am so far from productive its scary. I was "labeled" manic depressive or Bi polar as well, pero I think I am just completely in need of God everyday. Gods blessings to you and us all as we waste our life! ;-)

wow. for the last 3 years i have lived my life revolving around men and boys. the quote about "a woman's heart should be so lost in God that a man must be seeking the Lord to find it" just spoke right to my heart. It's one of those things where I know God meant for me to see it. I've lived a life full of drugs alcohol and sex these last few years after some bad things happened in my life and now i'm trying to turn back to God. It's hard but so exciting.

@SamWiseGingy That's just it though. This "mantra", as you so put it, is nothing more than a song that expresses how we all feel. If you want a mantra listen to "money, sex, and clothes" type song. There's no depth to it. In a worship song, you're taking it all to a deeper level. By worshipping God through music, we show just how important He is to us and in return, He shows us how important we are to Him by taking us into an even more intimate relationship with Him. It's all very reasonable.

If those other artists love their lovers so much, how come everything they have to say is about physical appearances and sex appeal? Isn't there more to those relationships?

There are times when an instrumental is appropriate for meditational purposes but when words are present the words should be premier.

Well if you don't think that Misty is holy enough to carry the Lord's child then that is your problem. The offspring of Christ will usher in the second coming of Jehovah himself. Just because you interpret the Gospels a different and unusual way does not mean that you have to attack me. I have not sat in judgment of you. Misty is the holiest of women and should be anointed as the Bride of Christ Jesus our Holy Father of Jerusalem.

We are to be holy as God is holy (1pet 2). But you are right only by Christ can we even hope to that end. There is a difference between being perfect (only Christ was) and walking in perfection. We are to obey, and it is Christ who does that in us. So, when we realize that we are a new creation, we can do that. It's so awesome what God has done for us! The day we die is the day we will reach perfection. :)

@SamWiseGingy That's just it though. This "mantra", as you so put it, is nothing more than a song that expresses how we all feel. If you want a mantra listen to "money, sex, and clothes" type song. There's no depth to it. In a worship song, you're taking it all to a deeper level. By worshipping God through music, we show just how important He is to us and in return, He shows us how important we are to Him by taking us into an even more intimate relationship with Him. It's all very reasonable.

We're hated and misunderstood for being "those Jesus Freak kids" by much of his family and people at school. God just keeps reaffirming Him love and power through this song and how it's okay all we need is Him and everything else will fall into place.

@syous01 Yes, but in the right balance. God is a verbal God. He is the Word and He wrote the Word. The book of Psalms is a lyrical or verbal book without the notation of the music. There are times when an instrumental is appropriate for meditational purposes but when words are present the words should be premier.

Well if you don't think that Misty is holy enough to carry the Lord's child then that is your problem. The offspring of Christ will usher in the second coming of Jehovah himself. Just because you interpret the Gospels a different and unusual way does not mean that you have to attack me. I have not sat in judgment of you. Misty is the holiest of women and should be anointed as the Bride of Christ Jesus our Holy Father of Jerusalem.

We are to be holy as God is holy (1pet 2). But you are right only by Christ can we even hope to that end. There is a difference between being perfect (only Christ was) and walking in perfection. We are to obey, and it is Christ who does that in us. So, when we realize that we are a new creation, we can do that. It's so awesome what God has done for us! The day we die is the day we will reach perfection. :)

Well, w/in 2 years, her mom's heart changed &she got saved, & now they have a good open relationship that they never had before! God is so amazing, &He is no respecter of persons, so if he can do it for her, he can do the same for u!!! God restores families. I pray he does that for u! In Jesus' Name. :)
