May I point out that Blurr is seen later being carried around by another bot... I think he's being used as a paper weight! Also, why isn't he as flat as a pancake? because only the side walls came in on him so that would mean he would be flat, right?

I don't understand why Blurr went into those tunnels in the first place, he should've stayed in the open where his speed would've been an advantage. I It's comforting to know that he's still alive, in a sense, as a cube. Still, this scene surprised me; this series is targeted towards a younger audience, but we still have characters die on screen (or at least, appear to die and not brought back later). I felt truly sorry for the bot, and for Omega Supreme in this episode, too. Thanks for posting!

Don't worry folks, I saw in the new Transformers Animated Comic "The Stunti-con Job" Cliffjumper recovered Blurr but he was still a crushed cube, So he wasn't gone for good after all! :)

What I love about both Beast Wars and Animated is that they aren't afraid to show casualties of war. To me, at least, saying that Blurr's alive after being crushed into a cube and tossed into an incinerator would cheapen the emotional impact of his death.

@omegaprim Which is why it's "at best". The point of my comment is that all the "he's alive, he's alive" stuff is mooted by the fact that when last we saw him, he was a brick, and there's been nothing since to say that's changed.

Some quality of life. Personally, I'd prefer he be dead, rather than alive but trapped in an itty-bitty living space (to quote the Genie), particularly if there's any consciousness or pain. I'd also prefer that for myself.

He's alive! Yeah. That's really wonderful.

Three of them, he's dead or effectively so (dead by crushing, dead by incinerating, or somehow surviving all that but stasis locked in cube form), the fourth is he's "alive" and conscious and trapped as a cube, and nobody knows where he is. My "best" scenario (somehow "surviving" all that) is actually intended to point out that their desire for him to be alive is grim.

I hate how most of the characters fates were left uknown. most of the Starscream clones were missing, most of the constructicons are left missing, the dinobots were left on the island, wreak-gar mssing, the predacons are stuck in africa, Soundwave, laserbeak dissapered and it didnt tell us if Ratbat's dead, Lockdown, Swindle and Team Charr ran and never came back, it didnt tell us if Blurr survived, Ultra magnus is in life support....

Look Shocky killed him. TFA is awesome! They dared to build up great characters and kill them. That's a key to making great movie villains. They have to bump off valued characters and not just fodder characters. Lets not forget how the decepticons beat Rodimus and pals in a great start.
