Resident Evil 1-3 and Code Veronica were solid experiences for me. I recently played through RE4 again and I have no idea why I liked it so much back in the day. The story made NO SENSE when you actually decipher it.

RE5 should have never been made the way it was, people like it more because it relates to the older games but its still about Las Plagas? The T-virus and such were scientific fiction while the parasites were kind of thrown in there. There not even scary anymore after just 2 games!

Personaly, from my perspective most resident evil games are above average for the genre of games capcom set them in the main seres not including 4 and 5 are great for survival horror and 4 and 5 were great for action games.

@ACEgrand629 The village part had its creepy parts, then the castle part kept some of its creepiness until you killed Verdugo, after that it started to get pew pew. Then once you got to the island it became a full fledged action bonanza, the only part on the island that was great was the Regenerators, the rest is all action.

I have nothing to say about RE5 anymore, it speaks for itself and so does its 'fans' Hopefully ORC and Revelations can patch up the damage it has done to 'Survival Horror'

The monsters in RE4 and RE5 bother me to no end because they are just never explained. At least in the originals you can read the experiments or accidents about the creatures and it actually makes sense. I think in RE4 you find a note about Gigante that literally says something like: Uhhhhh well dis guy got da Plagas annndddd... lol he got big.

I love this series because;

1. It has an epic story line, it wasn't just some apocalypse that randomly happened for no reason, all of it made sense and had a back story in some sort of way.

2. it is scary in someways (But i must admit, RE4 and 5 didn't scare me as much as the earlier ones did.)

3. Even though i like the earlier Resident evils in the series, Resident evil 4 and 5 are fun too, I've played RE5 at least 30 times and i still keep playing it with my friends.

If Capcom has any dignity left, they will end the franchises story at RE6. Like Hideo Kojima did with MGS4, tie up all the loose ends and give it a memorable ending. But I wont hold my breath.. You can only drag something on for so long until people get tired of it.

As for the Organization, I highly doubt Veltro in Revelations is that. The Organization has been collecting everything throughout the series. Veltro's just a terrorist group. Aded to that, The Organization is implied to be the ones secretly behind the BSAA in the first place.

4 had the worst story of the series, the least relevance of the main games, turned Leon into a complete ass, and introduced a viral agent that has nothing to do with anything else in the series.
