I did mess up on my terminology. When I said "workbook" in my prevoius comment I actually meant "worksheet".However it doesn't make too much of a difference. This helps me get started w/ referencing them now but is there a way for it to update automatically? (i.e.months april, may, june are visible on worksheet1...come May can it automatically switch to may, june, july? thx so much as you've been more than helpful...tell me if i'm asking for too much or just ignore my comments hehe. thx much.
If you have a database in one workbook, and you want to extract data to another workbook with formulas, this video will help with the formula:
Excel Magic Trick 185 Dynamic Formula Extract Data 1criteria
The 1 criteria for you would be month. And instead of cell references when you build your formulas, you would do workbook references (the other video can help you with that)
My apologies.Socal=southern california and CRM=customer relations manager.Workbook 1 has all my clients listed with the top 10 rows frozen which is where I put calendars with the 3 most current months (i.e.april, may, june) and its days.I copy and paste these calendars monthly from workbook 2 that has all 12months and days with a year toggler (2009, 2010,etc.) in which the days will adjust to the year I select.I want to see if the calendars can update automatically in workbook 1 w/out cut/paste
I do sales out of Socal and am currently using Excel 2007 as my CRM. It's been working great but would be nice if I can automate certain things with advance filtering instead of just auto filtering. I have about 5 things I would like to do with my current CRM. Can you take a look? I can change client details on there and perhaps it'd be helpful to us CRM users. Thanks!

Dear mutony9,
I think it will be as easy as doing a workbook Reference. Search for and watch this video:

Dear mutony9,
I do not know what you mean by "Socal" or "CRM". If you have a specific question and you can state it clearly, I will try and help.
