Pro-life people: Abortion is not happy. However, think of what would happen if it were to suddenly stop. Within a few decades massive overpopulation, poverty and starvation would take place. Nature has a way to balance us, through decease, disasters, etc. With us countering most of these problems, our population's growing at an alarming rate. Abortion happens to prevent children that would most likely grow up in poverty and die of hunger from ever having to suffer through any of it. Wake up.

No, we have the space and ability to support many more on earth. It's called a carrying capacity. Way back when they never thought that the earth could support as many as it does currently. ALSO, the result would be, yes, more births, but also less women would get pregnant of of wedlock as well.
