  • Like the problem with mine is that before I had a English and Chinese keyboard but I changed it by accident and now it's English and Japanese. How am I supposed to change it back to English and Chinese?

  • @MegaSekine For this try doing a Factory data reset to get it back the same way it was before. -Josh

  • is the keypad in portrait mode standard? or is it an app? like is it the old T9 fashioned way or is it the standard android one?

  • @varuntherider It comes with the phone. In portrait you have two options a full keyboard or a Phonepad. -Josh

  • @azulmarino3 Actually I just tried on a Ray that has android 2.3.4 and the swipe feature is available on both keyboards, portrait and landscape mode. -Josh

  • @sonyericssonsupport you are right, but it should be noted that the swipe feature is not available for phonepad keyboard layout in portrait mode. That is what confused me before.

  • I bought it for Xmas, Very nice phone ! Good Job SE

  • I`m from holland, can I also have swype on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray in dutch for free or is swype only for English?

  • @DanceGirlz1231 You should have that feature available if you go Menu>Settings>International Keyboard Settings>Text Input settings>Swipe to write. -Josh

  • @sonyericssonsupport Thankyou very much! I`ll try it! (:

  • can the xperia pro have the same on screen keypad?? what i mean is like this not the qwerty one...

  • @reynan29 Try to downloading a keyboard like that from the Market. By default the Pro doesn't have that keyboard. -Josh.

  • @sonyericssonsupport thank you josh...

  • @sonyericssonsupport what is the name of this keyboard? I mean exactly this alphanumerical keyboard like on video.

  • @radziu27 Try looking for a "phone pad" on the Market to see if you can find out that works the way you want it to. -Josh

  • so what will happen if i use a US version in the UK no wireless internet?

and the useage and phone systems are totally the same?

in other words is it ok to get the US version for my girlfriend shee wil be able to use it the same as shee could use it if we bought it in europe?

  • @shane1dude The internet will work, just that the 3G might not most likely. And yes the phones are basically the same you will be able to use it likewise. -Josh

  • @sonyericssonsupport kk thx josh

  • josh whats the diffrence between the sony ericsson ray US versin and UK version?

  • @shane1dude Basically the 3G frequencies. Since the ones used in the US aren't the same as the ones in UK. -Josh

  • hi josh i need ur help fast! i am ordering a phone tomorrow but now i cant choose between the arc and the Ray there both just abt the same only the ray looks better and the arc is easyr to type with and has bigger screen

  • @shane1dude I'd choose the Arc because it has a bigger screen. Both phones have basically same features but since the screen is bigger it is better to watch videos and movies. -Josh

  • @sonyericssonsupport thx josh got the arc ;p just been exploring with it allday ;p

  • @shane1dude Really nice! Hope you enjoy it a lot :) -Josh

  • Will this work for Verizon Wireless?

  • @moeshiznit This is a GSM phone, so if they also have the GSM service then yes it would work with them. -Josh

  • @sonyericssonsupport when will it be available in India

  • @qwertyadvairipper We don't have market specific information here. Try to contact your local Sony Ericsson support center to see if they have more info. -Josh

  • @sonyericssonsupport it's available now :)
