  • back before Ed was neutered.

  • wtf?

  • Shortly after Ed married & his wife bore child his angst/balls/growls/screams/"Whoo!"'s left the building.

  • 100% agreed. Thr rock in Live left after Ed supposedly found happiness.

  • the guitar riff is so hypnotic. I could listen to it over and over.

  • Yeah totally! I can really Dig IT!

  • é verdade..muito foda essa banda

  • @Gretsche87 it's actually true, you know. i did get so hypnotised that I trimmed this piece of the original music to listen over and over again.

  • @Gretsche87

Holy shit, it's been a year. That's like a decade in internet time. That guitar riff is just as memorizing as ever.

  • i lold my pants off at 0:46

  • I just can't find words to describe how great this song is...I wish they were much more famous in Europe. Thay are so understimated.

  • I live in York, PA ... played pool wit Ed once ... didn't even know who he was at the time ... so ashamed :(

  • i when to the holtwood dam once and this song is all you could say

  • The most underated song on the album.

  • I totally agree! Absolutely haunting.

  • oh for sure!!! This is one of my faves--and its very different and has a bit of everything involved. But, yeah, few KNOW it! :(

  • Agree with previous poster - fantastic album opener....

  • This song is one of the best album opening ever.

  • Absolutely I agree too, and with "White, discussion" you have one of the best closing tracks ever - sums up to a pretty damn amazing album! I miss those days...

  • i miss the music from those days, people were so talented and could really put feeling in their music that wasnt hatred

  • @54spiritedwill54 AGREED!

  • @54spiritedwill54 When I first got this album you usually know how a album is going to be when you hear the first song, and when this came on i was like this album is going to be in the zone...fuckin awesome

  • @54spiritedwill54 It's so awesome how it fades in.

  • @54spiritedwill54 Fully agreed and then you basically close with white discussion, maybe the best album ever made imo.

  • This is a mad song, r they still together or are they broken up

  • "Live" is currently touring with "Blues Traveler" and "Collective Soul". Can't ask for a better combo.

  • That's amazing! That would be one helluva show!

  • have they been 2 perth iff any1 runs into them,we need a real concert same loud real shit as foo/fters

  • It was one Awesome show...saw them last night in Hershey right up the road from their home town. They kicked ass, flat out.

  • Oh ya, what about "Live", "Radiohead" and "REM"....that was pretty good to me!

  • one of my favorites ever !!!!!

  • Korn are shit...

  • Fantastic. Nice put together.

  • greatest opener for an album, you cannot do it better or more dramatic

great song of a great album anyway

  • Played The Dam at Otter Creek all the time in the pub on the roof of this New Zealand hostel until the manager got sick of it. Every time i hear this song it strikes me.

  • i love throwing copper and live is the best band of the 90's besides korn

  • korn sucks nuts

  • who loves throwing copper? I could imagine liking the act, but love might be strong a word. Unless, of course, you're throwing copper at some blind kid or something... Then yea, that might be fun.... sorry... I'm jk

  • Throwing Copper......best album end of discussion

  • i've become a fan from the first time i heard their song!

  • Live for the motherfucking win.

En de cover van Sleeping with Ghosts van Placebo is de mooiste. <3

  • arnodww, why not try creating your own video based on your interpretation of the song?

  • what album is at 0:40?

  • Killer song

  • What the hell does the song has to do with the video...???nyways superb song...They never stop their uniqueness do they...hehe...rock on LIVE....

  • Such beautiful album covers, probably too old for most of the music within.

  • Um the video is wierd and has nothing to do with the music but the song rocks. Um..

  • lol. yeah totally, but the song kicks ass.

  • It could be classed as lazy, just having a video showing album covers. But they are album covers of albums/bands they thought were cool at the time. And may still do. Nice to see some British bands in there..;-)

  • I saw them live at the Gorge in Washington, and they opened with this song. it was pitch black and cold, and when the first drum beats hit, a HUGE yellow light burst on, and heated up the entire crowd in the front. and hten it was pitch black until the drums hit again. and when they finally kick in, and the song picks up speed, the lights turned on, and all the rest of the lights came on. best opening ever, I will never forget it.

  • Same thing at Cornell when Throwing Copper was first released. I have been to many shows and I will never forget that base drum rattling my teeth!

  • Cool..wish I was there...you saw history my friend..cause they really don't play this much anymore...that sounds so cool to open with this!

  • yeah...same tour...and Chad Gracy is in my opinion the greatest drummer in R&R right now...

  • greatest band of all time.

Greatest opening song at a concert of all time...was amazing.

  • when I saw them for the first time they opened with "Rattlesnake"...that was pretty good...although...goddamm..if they opened with this you had to know you're head was gonna be spinning!!!

  • acayip bi şarkı bu ya...

  • OMG! I just discovered this song and this band today from a friend. And I swear this is one of the greatest rock bands of all time. I absolutely Luv this song and the band.

  • If you like them then also check out the Manic Street Preachers.

  • you may recognize, but, you ain't no star!!!!!!!!

  • This song is one of the best album opening ever.

  • i recognized about half of those, some led zepplin, supertramp, mars volta, muse, dogmanstar, and of course live ;p
