this is why i dont read the news, when live released TC, there was a $1000 reward by live offered for a sign, the pick on the back on TC was a real sign that was stolen, ive been to Otter creek, this sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i first listen to this song in the movie in the army now and the guitar part it stuck in my head so i searched about this song and now is one of my favorites its just amazing
just finished watching that scene in the movie, in the army now, so I had to look this up! I had this cd back in the day, I need to buy it again I think...
Absolutely I agree too, and with "White, discussion" you have one of the best closing tracks ever - sums up to a pretty damn amazing album! I miss those days...
@54spiritedwill54 When I first got this album you usually know how a album is going to be when you hear the first song, and when this came on i was like this album is going to be in the zone...fuckin awesome
Played The Dam at Otter Creek all the time in the pub on the roof of this New Zealand hostel until the manager got sick of it. Every time i hear this song it strikes me.
who loves throwing copper? I could imagine liking the act, but love might be strong a word. Unless, of course, you're throwing copper at some blind kid or something... Then yea, that might be fun.... sorry... I'm jk
It could be classed as lazy, just having a video showing album covers. But they are album covers of albums/bands they thought were cool at the time. And may still do. Nice to see some British bands in there..;-)
I saw them live at the Gorge in Washington, and they opened with this song. it was pitch black and cold, and when the first drum beats hit, a HUGE yellow light burst on, and heated up the entire crowd in the front. and hten it was pitch black until the drums hit again. and when they finally kick in, and the song picks up speed, the lights turned on, and all the rest of the lights came on. best opening ever, I will never forget it.
when I saw them for the first time they opened with "Rattlesnake"...that was pretty good...although...goddamm..if they opened with this you had to know you're head was gonna be spinning!!!
OMG! I just discovered this song and this band today from a friend. And I swear this is one of the greatest rock bands of all time. I absolutely Luv this song and the band.
the intro sounds a little like sheryl crows my favourite mistake
