Militay personnel (depending on rank) can get anything from 3 days bread and water in the brig, to 1/2 months pay for 3 months and restricted to base (meaning cant leave the base), so no we are not free to say anything we want.

Being fired isnt a reprisal as nothing was actually done to the person. While being restrained (jailed) is. Further I doubt any employer would actually fire someone over that, too much litigation.

However any civy who jumped in both sides stopped beat the civies, then went back to fighting each other. @TheTodd1023 No when you can recieve reprisal aka punishment for something you said, that isnt free speech. A civy can tell his boss to go fuck himself, worst that happens he gets fired. Militay personnel (depending on rank) can get anything from 3 days bread and water in the brig, to 1/2 months pay for 3 months and restricted to base (meaning cant leave the base), so no we are not free to say anything we want.

Being fired isnt a reprisal as nothing was actually done to the person. While being restrained (jailed) is. Further I doubt any employer would actually fire someone over that, too much litigation.

However any civy who jumped in both sides stopped beat the civies, then went back to fighting each other. Not really proud of those days, wish I had an old Master Chief to take me to the woodshed and "instruct me" in proper military disipline. Still I miss the military badly, nothing like a base of good people to live and work with.
