I'd make a bet that you aren't as versed in ww2 knowledge as you'd think, and neither am i. If anything was different back then, results could have been mightely different, if we had allied with Germany, we would have owned Europe no doubt, but would likely have been taking the risk of getting nuked by the USSR as a last resort. Things went the way they did, and things are the way they are.
