@nickpsp7 actually the reason it looks so much like an m4 is that it was designed to be like the m4 so that it would be easy for servicemembers who had trained on the m4 platform to pick up and use. it was too expenice and the US military did not buy it. the name 416 was to mimic colt's m4 and m16, and colt actually sued HandK over this, resulting in the naem change

the reason it looks so much like the m4 is because it was a replacement or better version of the m4 (not sure) the army thought it was to expencive so i think the army bought the front part and put it on the m4

yeah i had the jg g36c and it was great but the reason i sold it is cuz if the hop up breaks u need to replace the whole front end of the gun.Get the 416, its great

If you get the crane stock version it comes with a crane stock battery. And yes you can buy barrel extensions for it, or you can get the Echo 1 416 which is much better for a little more money. It comes with a barrel extension and 2 metal hicap mags. Unfortunately it only comes in the PEQ box version.

if it has the regular 10 inch barrel, go with a MADBULL 6.04 M733 tightbore (273mm). if it has a 14.5 inch barrel (like i do) get the regular MADBULL m4 barrel (363mm).  Or, if you have a 417 setup, get a MADBULL m16 barrel (510). madbulls are relatively cheap, but offer great tb options.

Umm... NO! lol actually all ACM guns usually come with a 6.08 diameter barrel. With a 6.04 diameter barrel, you could imagine, basically. Better accuracy, better consistency and even slightly higher fps due to better a better seal with the bb when is leaves the barrel.

well, for the inner barrel length, i would suggest a 363 mm Madbull 6.04 barrel. Its a tightbore(ask if you dont know), and better yet it is very cheap, but has excellent performance, for my standards.

yeah, 6.03 is fine. I just suggest 6.04 because sometimes the 6.03 jams because the bb is too big and gets stuck in the barrel. Just watch what bbs you use! (which, in airsoft is a must anyways...)

from a full m16 size barrel, the 5.56 flies fast enough to effectively "yaw" in a person producing the tumbling effect the 5.56 was intended to make. this produces large exit wounds and sometimes an almost "explosive" effect.

from an m4 shorter barrel the 5.56 wont go fast enough to actually tumble in a target which produces far less lethality.

and i was never comparing a 5.56 X 45mm to a 7.62 X 39mm twat.

its not an airsoft bb it still can go through body armor (example ak47) and go deep enough to hit an organ but the hole trauma effect of a bullet is the principle used by the m16 in which the friction and bending that occurs after it enters the body causes it to break apart causing huge damage

yes, so they both caus2 dame, ak-47 can hit organs and the m16 NATO round can penetrate and breat into small fragments which will also cause damage. m-16 is a smaller but faster round, ak-47/74/101/ect... are bigger but slower rounds. so as you said both rouns can cause damage which is what a basically said in the start.
