I machined the round parts with a lathe. That parts have a set screw (grub screw) made with a drill and a tap.
The top is composed of 4 parts. Two plates and two bars (square section 10 mm), so the wide plate=narrow plate+ 10+10 mm OK?
The groove in the side of the narrow plate is made with a mill, but it is not extrictly necessary. You can do many holes in line so the plate moves in small leaps.

@bigbehemoth try to view my stabilizer, it's like a glidecam design..
all the gimbals are made of ball bearings.. the x,y,z axis..
