I was in his concert of yesterday in Madrid and he also played here this wonderful piece of Albeniz. All we began to call "torero" to him and I suppose that somebody has already called him so before (probably when he has interpreted this kind of Spanish music in other concerts) because you could notice about that he could understand perfectly it when he looked smiling at his musicians at the same time as he repeated "torero" to them (I suppose that with Irish accent because I couldn't,...
..of course, to hear it to him. I only thought to have read it on his lips). Later some of us remained a few waiting for when he came out (few people because he and his musicians went out quite late) and as much he as his bodyguards behaved very amiably allowing us to take some photos with him. I don't need to say that his concert was a wonder. In Madrid we have expected for his visit for a long time. His last visit was at 1995 and before it he was in1987, I was 13 years old then and I cried...
...all the night because my mother didn't let me go to hear and see him, but I heard later that he was at that time very angry with the spanish people, and he promised not to comeback ever to Madrid because the concert was free and there was all type of people, including some undesirable and vandals ones that weren't fans of Gary Moore, and there was a lot of problems (including one wounded by white weapon). Fortunately, that has not happened again and,
...luckyly also, Gary did not fulfill his promise of not returning to Madrid and I could see him live when I was 22 years old and now being 36 (forgetting my tears of 1987). And, if you someday read it, Gary, please, return here as soon as posible. The Madrilenians want you very much. And it would be really nice to hear someday in one of your cds or posible future vinillos some spanish song. Our music has also very much soul and much feeling for who knows to find it.
That's pretty amazing on a Les Paul
