That dog is soooo funny when he is starting his "moves" to play with kitty! My Great dane does not play, but she sometimes starts running around the house like a rocket, out of the blue. Makes me laugh, these dogs are the best.

Yes, they played together all the time. They grew up together from puppy & kitten. But sadly we lost Lemon in Jan this year to a mystery infection - she was still only 5yrs old. Life is unfair. Honey really misses her old playmate bossing her around...

I'm sorry for yours and Honey's loss. I know personally that animals can mourn and sometimes very deeply. My Dalmatian was my mother's dog and he missed her greatly when she passed away from lung cancer.

I find a lot of the time losing a dog is as bad as losing a family member. I had a border collie/retriever mix who died during a leg amputation from bone cancer, then a pit mix who chased off robbers and was hit by a car down the street.. now we have 2 danes, a little runt girl who is 7 and about 105lbs, and a 4 year old boy who my family got from a rescue who is around 165lbs now. Danes are some of, if not the best dogs in the world!! Im sorry for your loss, it makes me sad typing this..
