one time i was peforming a poker routine where i lead it up to the fact that they think they kno wut i am doing. (i was doing a transposition with a bad poker hand and the four kings) then i made a royal flush appear. then later in the show i did fan.2.C. and the flipped. after i was done they came up to me and asked me how i made the four kinds turn into a royal flush like that. i actuall turned four crappy cards(plus the ace of spades) into a royal flush

you obviously have ALOT to learn.

Here's an example, the BEST trick I do is the easiest thing in the world. I do a DL to show a card, flip them back facedown, tell them to hold out their hand and give them what they think is the card I first showed them. I then take another card and magically make it the card I have, change into the one they thought thet had in their hand.

I have gotten the BEST reactions in that easy trick. And all I did was one little double lift.

If you are performing an easy trick and the people that you are performing to figure it out, then that's your fault, not the tricks.

It's how you perform it, not the trick itself. An amature magician can do a easy trick and suck, and a good magician can do the SAME trick and everyone will freak out! That proves that it's the performance, not the trick.

@James1Wise Thats right, its basicaly caused by the amatuer magicians fear of the expository fase, which is so important especialy in the opening effect where you realy have to create your audiance, and condition them to accept that what your about to do is going to be amzing and not just another trick like what there used to seeing.

EXACTLY! That's what separates TRUE magicians from everyone else. When someone learns how simple a method can be, they go, "That's so easy it's stupid", but when a magician learns how simple the method is they go, "Hey, that's really easy but very clever."
