@12345678ix nope. frets out almost immediately especially on high frets. had i known i would have not bought it. but the 2010 strats have compound radius, with means the fret board flattens out the higher the frets. so you supossedly can bend all the way. im gonna sell my 2007.

i have this guitar and its Very versatile, you can easily do divebombs ! go to a guitar store and try it out :) the pickups and the S Switching system gives it a very large range of different sounds also. The bridge installed  dosnt go back as far as a FR tho. Due to the metal bit at the end which holds the strings this baby dosnt go out of tune easy ! mine takes one hell of a thrashing and stays good.

you could do what i just did, I bought a mim strat with a floyd rose($500). Then I bought a loaded pickguard($200) from an american deluxe and installed it. I saved about $700 and I can't tell the difference between mine and the american deluxe

I've got this guitar except i've got it in 3 color sunburst (maple fretboard) and i love it. It's got very good clean bluesy sound and some nice distortion tones from the humbucker.

pretty much, a deluxe HSS strat has:

- LSR rolling nut (ball bearings stop binding of strings)

- S-1 Electronics

- Locking Tuners

- Curved neck heel, for easy access of higher frets.

which is pretty f-ing good guitar.

Nirvana used single coils almost exclusively; check out all of Cobain's guitars. Green Day's uses a Les Paul Jr. that has a single coil P-90 in it.

In my own opinion I like the Deluxe sss since I'm very much a single coil type player. The HSS will be more versatile though with the combination. If you've played humbuckers and like them then go for the HSS. Then again, I'm more a telecaster/jazzmaster player.
