I teach 10 year olds how to tablet weave all the time! All you need are 2 clamps, a table and some cards (I make mine form "For Sale" signs. If you work in yarn, the project go very quckly... you should be able to get started for about $10. Look online for instructions. Do "thread in" patterns first.

It's so beautiful. I wish I could do it but it's just so confusing. For example - how much yarn do you put on the shuttle, what do you attach it to at the beginning and what happens if it runs out?
