  • LOL in the beginning when that old lady was talking about the young girls looking so pretty. i guess that will never end, of old grannies telling other people that their daughter are potential wives and daughter in laws!

  • they seem like Hmong viet nam not hmong China

  • Thanks for the sharing. I like their baby talk it sound really cute, lol.

  • @kntseeg lol it's not baby talk. Thats just what we call it. It is actually the old white dialect in which our current dialect arrived from.

  • do they speak english? read write in hmong/chinese? any education?

  • @leejvaj13 ? why would they speak english. I'm not sure what you mean but I guess they do speak a few words in english but they cannot string it into sentences. they can speak and write in hmong but the Hmong suav version not hmong Laos version. in other words they spell every thing different. and of course they speak mandarin and write to some extent in spimlified charaters. hope that answers your question.

  • @blongsiab Leejvaj is being prejudice and simply asking if they are educated girls or simply country bumpkins. Maybe he is looking for a wife or a daughter-in-law. Regardless, it is prejudice to assume they are not smart or intelligent because they live in the countryside of China.

  • Lol, the girl at 2:25 is so cute.

  • So, are their any differences/similarites between the Hmong marriage ceremonies here and the ones in China?

  • @AtarashiNOhi those in the city have lost alot of tradition but those in the moutians still retain alot of similarities. the only difference is the wedding there last 3 days as it only last 2 days here in the states. the weeding is also depends on the 12 hours of the zodiac for good luck (every 2 hours is a different animal.

  • WOW look so cool>>>>

  • Can u please let me know where u began ur trip in china? I plan on taking my parents to yunan, but again, my parents are more interested in seeing hmong ppl. Lmk.

  • @nvthao hi t哦he my thao cousin. Yunnan and guangxi are the best place to go and interact with hmong that speaks the same dialect as USA. the only difference is they speak the old white dialect and we speak the new white dialect. the old dialect is what we commonly refer to as baby talk. For seeing Hmong poeple it is best to go during new year as everyone comes home from work for 2 weeks to a month. that the only time they get off.

  • @nvthao just so you know there are 2 different years my hmong china videos some from 2010 and some from 2011. do check them out to get a feel for your parents if they are truly interested I can arrange someone to pick them up at the airport in kumming Yunnan. from there it's another 6 hour drive to wenshan (PajTawgLag) or wait and get a 40 min flight. while you wait tour the stone forrest and othe scenic areas.

  • @blongsiab my friend are you still interested? I'm planning to go again and to the big village where theres going to be lots of show and lusheng dances.

  • Wow I want to learn the Chinese Hmong way of talking. Not going to lie but the first two girl is pretty cute...

  • @tubhm00bvaj truthfully most of the pretty girls I saw the year before are gone married and there will be less next year. the girl in red at the beginning may be the only cute girl left.

  • Looks like a life with no worries. Free and happy.

  • man seems like they are having a blast!!!!!! Kool thnx for upload.

  • @mejkoob lol I think they were having a blast. so much food I and they just keep eating and eating

  • aww thanks definately i wanna go see hmong people and sight see but i'm not quit sure on the date and where and what part of china i wanna go visit but i will soon let u know...

  • hey how do u contact a tour guide i'm planning on going maybe next year with some of my freinds and have no idea how to get in contact with someone who speaks hmong so they can take us around to some very exoctic places in china ? please give me some ideas

  • @22sandycha Well do you have any idea where you'd like to go and what you'd like to see? if you go to wenshan then I can get you someone to show you around yunnan. if you go to guizhou I can get you another contact it really depends on what your interested at seeing. If you want to see Hmong in Yunnan/ Guangxi I recommend going during chinese new year. if your just interested in sight seeing then july /august would be better. let me know.

  • what? why wouldnt he want ou to upload it! ahhh gay rau os =/

  • @beehfancy we have become very good friends and the fact that some things are different meaning the way things are performed. he has asked me not to upload most of the clip so I'm just showing bits and pieces of the wedding where the not so importing things are happening. Oh and the lady speaking rudely to me in the video is my tour guides wife. she was pissed of by my tour guide and decided to take it out on me. no harm done as she did a great job showing us around

  • Nyob suav teb lub province twg os? Ua cas lawv hais lus meej

zoo li cov Hmoob nyab laj nyob rau lub zos Sapa thiab ne.

  • @paexou This is the same village where I shot the new year video. This village is deep in Wenshan Prefecture in Xichou County about 3 hours north of the Vietnam border. I'll upload the video of the festival near the border when I get more stuff rendered.

  • @blongsiab Zoo saib heev li. Koj mas thiaj mus pom peb cov hmoob ua rau yam

txaus siab thiab zoo siab heev. Vim tej laus khiav suav teb los yeej tsis tau mus pom li.

  • omgosh these girls are so outgoing compared to those in laos..they act like themselves and dont sweet talk..how fun....

  • @hmongprecious Awh look at all those food . Some dishes actually tasted really good while others are just not my taste. But yeah everyone in this village knows me, that's probably why their not shy.
