Every performance John Legend has done I have liked. I like rock & roll and rythme easy listening music and this guy is a great singer song writer. Saw him on PBS the other day and enjoy his show and agreed with his after performance comment.

I know this song after watching the "Waiting for Superman" documentary, which is about everything that's wrong about our (especially American?) education nowadays.

anyway,..I immediately got heart-struck when listening to this tune as the ending credit rolls.

I myself am a Gen Y, but I have to say that it's truly such a 'spiritual' & heartfelt feeling/experience to FINALLY be able to find, and know such great, REAL music like this, not to mention inspiring as well!

Nothing can compare to the original..why because this is the best redition.

Legends sounds like a Calypso, Reggae..style..with no compasion towards the original.

Or notice that almost every recording of this song on youtube is live and sounds different?
