Wow! This really swings, totally BAD solos from everyone, and awesome bends and slides from Cindy on the pedal steel! I especially like the "cool" tone of the Telecaster.
She has some students,she lives in South Austin and when she's playing she is always in for a chat or a photo...check her schedule or Redd's,she is very busy...this fortunately means there \'s still work for her...She's great,believe me!!!
Thanks, I didn't know the name of the song, but I looked it up and turns out it was recorded by Bob Wills in Dallas in 1941, composed by his band members Eldon Shamblin (electric guitar) and Leon McAuliffe (steel guitar).
Cindy dominates any musical setting into which she is placed. Once one gets past that fact, he can only hope to be lucky enough to be there when she plugs in and does her thing.
Nice job shooting this too!

Great guitar licks from Red and Cindy. The piano and bass are no slouches either. Drums don't overdo it, they just fit right in the groove.

Why is nobody dancing? ? ?
gamoonbat 2 years ago
Because the Austin police would crack their skulls open if they tried dancing... subversive activity.

There's a rule in Texas where you're not allowed to dance at 'Book Festivals'.

@rleary1
