I have the original game for the Atari ST nad the two disks came in a CD type cover. The printed insert is not the same as the ones with oneof the Giani Sister Flying. It has the two Sisters on the front in circles and the saying... The Brothers are History. I may think about selling if the price is right!

My friend had this game, and on extremely rare occations he would let me borrow it. But I figured out how to trick him, I simply oploaded the game to my c64, and gave him the casette back, I kept my commodore on for a month without switching it off, just so I could play an unlimited amount of this great game, 20 some years ago not, oh the memmories!

The music in this game was so awsome that i actually thought the PC would never catch up =P. Ofcourse the song played isnt the quality it was on the C=64 but rather made by a band in Lule, Sweden called Machinae supremacy. But i kinda like the orignial better.

I love this game, it was my favourite as a kid, even though I rarely got past level 12. ^^' I did manage to finish it, eventually.

Nintendo has C64 games on Virtual Console now. They so should add Giana Sisters! Of course they won't because of the Mario thing, but that's exactly why it would be so awesome :D Giana's better than Mario anyways.

@Malygos0 I'm not sure now if I was serious when I wrote that. :P Probably not entirely. But I did like Giana Sisters loads more than any Mario Bros way back when I was a kid.

I think I also might have meant that Giana > Mario as characters. I've always somewhat disliked Mario as a character. Not that there's much character to be found in Giana or her sister either, but I liked that bunch of pixelated crazy hair way more than a pixelated guy with a hat.

Yeah, I finished the game many times, the last level was kind of a let down, but it was pretty damn hard towards the end. Great game, it was my life when I was about 6-8 years old. But then I moved up to... well, it's a great game... :D

Yeah... Its true Giana Sisters was seen as a Mario clone and Nintendo was not happy about it. So after a short time Giana Sisters disappeared from the market... officially. :) But Thanks to all the copyright pirates the game spread like wildfire anyway. And IMO Mario and Giana Sisters are on a par. There is no cheap copy or anything.

We all know. It's a pretty good cheap copy though IMO. A lot of power-ups, good music too(I mean the original music of the game) and the enemies weren't too bad either. I also found it harder than Mario.
