i was going to see furthur on november 5th but the bastards cancelled it in order to gather a bigger crowd and moved it 7 hours away from me to albany new york compared to an hour away from me in state college pa ): so i'm just going to see DSO, they're awesome, but still not the dead ): plus i'm only 16 and jerry died the year i was born so i couldn't have seen them in the past :/
You realize they moved it because state college was going through a lot at that time and they couldn't handle the big mobs of people (hippies) the police staff was small. Not about crowd at all but the actual area, didn't want a bunch of hippies camping out.
alfrunk, not sure what that comment meant but this reality my friend.. dso is reality, the origin of them now is history, but this is as good as it comes.. peace jk, see you with boys soon
They opened their fall tour in The palace in albany last night it was amazing, the other one > alligator > drums/space > alligator > the other one...........encore: the weight, TOUCH OF GREY!
I saw DSO at Governors Island last year in NYC, great show, but I've been looking into their return to Governors Island this year. apparently they're building a beach right on the water that faces Manhattan. So it's like a beach party/concert with DSO and Keller Williams. So psyched, should be a pretty awesome new venue. Let me know if you know more about this new beach.
Fer Shure. Also some in the timbre and inflections in his voice are gettin it too. Wonderin if when he might get just a bit bluesy hoarse that he might emulate that era of Jer's vocals too(?)

One of the best cover versions of touch of grey if not the best I have heard to date. Well done DSO.

GEE so this video wasn't removed? Evidently there is some disconnect between History and Reality??

Holy crud, scary similarity to Jerry's guitar tone circa '90.
