  • I know the glory days just fine, and they are still good.:-)

Ok, they don't have the same number of musicians as before, but they can still play the tunes :-)

  • Wolfstone rocks.. THE BEST:D

  • i love wolfstone hihi

  • Have you ever seen them at the Trigallia Celtic festival?

  • Battle of the stoic piper versus the melancholy fiddle...like Dan Stotters RHS mega battle of the bands! Duuude!

  • Junto a Runrig uno de los grupos más potentes, que han sabido conjugar la música tradicional con la música rock. En directo son demoledores.

  • O meu grupo preferido de música folk escocesa dende sempre, os mellores sen dúbida.

    Greetings from Galiza

  • great

  • After lurking around here for a few years these folks, and other Celtic/punk/rock bands got me to sign up. Wow-I was all sad when Silly Wizard broke up. Wolfestones make up for a lot!

  • so when was the last time you saw them live?

  • ummmm Never! I have been in Blues mode for the past 15 years.

  • I have a couple of videos here and they are dark. This one is great! I MISS Wolfstone and PLEASE come back to USA in 2008!

  • Great band! Scotland is the place for great music. Many bands like them are coming from here, like Peatbog faeries, Runrig, Session A9. It great, I love lving in scotland.

  • Some years ago now we saw Wolfstone playing in the town hall of Ahaus in Germany, near where I used to work. It was the original line up and the best folk/rock band I have ever seen. To see nearly 1000 people in a hall that was designed to hold about 800 max, all swinging and singing, was a sight to behold. Really great times and I can tell you that the Guinness there tasted better than any I've had here in England, ever! Why is that I wonder?

  • I dunno....I've never found anything about them playing live near me, but I'd love to see them if I could. XD

  • Ah well...no more jokes. These guys are fab!!! Went with them on tour and they are SO sweet and down to earth. Ross is not the leadsinger, or in the band anymore though...He makes his own music. See him on myspace as Rosco:-)

  • I have seen these guys at least a dozen times in the USA. Everytime, they put on an excellent show for young and old alike-and like many people, they had a few drinks w/my and I. A great bunch of guys who know how to treat their fans well. They have been screwed over by many a promoters(as noted by the use of their music w/o royalties being paid to the band).

  • saw them 2 years ago, then afterwards I met them at a bar and went drinking withthem... they're really nice guys. My friend started dating the lead singer and they've been together since

  • I didn't know I was your friend...:-)

  • Saw Wolfstone in 1996, and waited 10 years to see them again-such great energy!!! This track is always a favorite too!

  • i like the intro its got a nice funk rythymn to it

  • Abs fantastic. I seen them live at the glamis this august and was abs blown away by the band.

  • I love Wolfstone!!!!! I've never actually seen them play, so Thanks! =^.^=

  • rebelpiper89: that's Quinie Fae Rhynie from Seven. I've never seen it broken down into a set of tunes. The album credit is Steve Saint; so, it may be an original. Thanks, cokester. It's one of my faves from these lads.

  • Yay for Quinie!

  • Saw them at Borlum last weekend, they were excellant.

  • Anyone know the names of the reels being played?

  • Wonderful Group!!! I can't wait for them to come back to the US. I've never seen them live, but I certainly will next time they come my way. They take Irish music to new levels, while keeping the traditional feel. Not too many bands can do that.

  • theyre scottish

  • Yea:) My mistake. Thanks for the correction.

  • :D im going to seethem adn runrig next weekend woot

  • Love these guys they played at our local music festavil amazing!

  • Woah. I'm so going to buy one of their albums! Pity I live at the other end of the world and have to import everything...

  • that's pretty sweet..i don't think i've ever heard these guys before. can anyone tell me the name of this song?

  • great! does anyone here got a live version of "flames and hearts" or "legend of the celtic fiddle"?

    cheers
