And unfortunately don't forget that the kumite wkf karate organism is like any other organism...I mean when you're a champ you will stay a champ, some ref are blinded by the notoriety of some champions and cannot see when an outsider's scoring faster or better. That's when an art taste the good old hypocrism of a sport.
Aghayev's behaviour never had nothing to do with karate. He is unrespectful, show off, and he doesn't know fair-play. I already saw him loose a fight and throw his dental protection while discussing the ref. Technical skill never buy you an attitude, if you think you're a good fighter because you score, then you're not the real 'nokachi'
I appreciate the intelligent thought you put into your comments but I have another take. While others have caught onto him as a fighter, his confidence is overwelming- he really thinks he's going to win. As a world class competitor, his adrenaline gets rolling as does yours and mine so a momentary loss of composure is understood. I happen to think he's a graceful winner and shows respect to most of the guys he's beatin. I see your point of view but I guess mine's different.
Although i'm happy because i saw him eating an ura-mawashi geri this summer against an italian. Let's bet he will stand up a guard for some time, even if it's definitly not for the respect of his opponent but more because now he now he'snot untouchable. ;)
He's is trying to be the newest of the Alex Biamonti types. In my view, Biamonti was the most dominate fighter in recent history but he was far from being a good sportsman. His disrespect towards others was common- again, it's because of the level of testosterone we produce at times of competition. Aghayev is not as bad as the great Biamonti but he's never going to be as talented as that Frenchman was either.
@slimnotskinnytexan thanks for summarizing my opinion.......I should add though that Biamonti was the fighter who brought a new kind of combat to Karate competitions......he is like the Ronaldinho for football......right...
I agree they are like assholes. It's disrespectfull what him with red belt is doing playing and messing about. He think's he's Anderson Silva he does. No diciplin with it.
ouah c est nul je suis asiat je pete 3 nez a chaque entrainement ils denigrent le karaté!!!! ils ne connaissent meme pas les createurs des karates ps : cest pas mon mail ne repondez pas aligato
i feel so sorry for the blue. but he's so damn stupid. he's trying to play games with aghayev?! AGHAYEV?! he's a tool... he should be defensive, not being too flashy. and why is that? because then aghayev will play you like a toy and joke you like in 2:20 -.- LOL
ok first of all, thematics doesn't know what he's talking about, karate it going to the olympics dumbass. and second, he's not a monkey, he's a beast. aghayev rules.
aka is like a monkey performing monkey show at zoo a lot movement which he had done should get a penalty especially the one where ao attacked him n he ducked down. this is why karate couldnt make it to the olympics
ducking is allowed in karate, and that is just the way aghayev fights. by the way, karate didn't make the olympics because these fucking organisations couldn't come to terms with each other.
actually the main reason was that they didn't want another "judged" sport. Kumite nearly made it, but not quite. They discounted kata from the very beginning. Didn't want a recap of the figure skaters and the french judge incident
Only reason Pinna lost is he was nervous, while Aghayev wasnt or atleast didnt show it at all.
Plus Aghayev annihilated him with mockery.
so the poor guy had no chance.
