well, that's just for animated illusion. To make real one, short out the infrared filter on a laser, then attach a spinning electrical-arc generator. The infrared radiation will project the plasma vortex generated by the spinning electrical-arc generator to a specific distance before dissipating, depending on the levels of infrared emitted. I haven't worked out the equation yet, but all i need is to measure the difference between two different levels of radiation.
