im a pretty accomplished guitar player/teacher but 1st time capo user....my wife LOVES to sing this song and she wants to cover it....only thing i would've added is to play the song the whole way through after the lesson on the chord patterns :) otherwise AWESOME lesson!

How do you play an F and an F minor? I can't really tell from the video and I am having trouble finding the right one. Also, could you possibly give a strum pattern? I am a beginner and it's hard for me to pick up on what it is... like an uduudud kind of thing?

@KatyLennonXo play the root/5th/octave/10 barre chord (Fmaj5) then drop the 10....(Fm5)...lamens= basic major barre chord on the 1st fret (Fmaj5)....drop the middle finger....(Fm5)

i have my capo on the 3rd fret but it keeps bussing sound why is that?

@rockachick909 could be a couple of reasons: 1) your capo may not be tight enough 2) it might be too far on the fret or not far enough 3) the action on your guitar might need to be raised. it's hard to know since i can't see the guitar/capo or how you play buuuuuuuuuuuut that's my best guess. :)

@TheIIIrdFilms I have the same problem , I have fender smart capo and when i place it my 4th and 5th string buzz , tried moving it on th fret board or changing the tightness butt still no clue

Great Lesson and a mint song for an acoustic , ruled this one quick for me but that is because of the choice instruction. The only thing was I kept spazzing on the F to F minor because of the capo and takes a lil more pressure for a total hack like me. Keep up the lessons they are helping us major
