2003 toyota camry with v6 24 valve is definitely powerful and fast. my friend has this and his car is amazingly fast. we don't know if it has a tuning chip in it, but it handles great, and gets away from lights fast. his car passes v-8's easily. the v6 24-valve is easily one of the most powerful and smoothest engines out there. and lasts forever. his car still drives like new. and has never been in the shop, not even once.

@Aliendear My Jeep has headers, full exhaust, CAI, TBS... Making about 225 hp 255 lb-ft. My curb weight is 3057 lbs. The 2003 Camry V6 weighs 3350 lbs and has 210 hp and 220 lb-ft which equates to 201 hp and 221 lb ft under new hp SAE standards. 90% of my torque is available from 1,800 rpm. I got the launch and completely killed it after than pulling 3-4 cars ahead. Chip does nothing for N/A engines, they are ripoffs.

@98MAzdaMilleniaS you don't understand. this car has a bigger transmission or something. thus, propelling the v6 24 valve engine to great speeds. we don't put the pedal to the floor to gain these speeds. the car acts like it has bigger wheels or something. in a 1/4 mile, we are ahead of anything that is on the road, and that's not even trying. the car shifts on it's own with great speed. this is not a normal automatic transmission. this car goes very fast, very smooth, and very quickly.

V6 Camry is a crappy pony car. Too much engine for a too few car. No good handling or breaking. Power is mostly useless too since it is a FWD ricer. It is only good to burn tires.

@occckid123 yes, that's the rating. And I own an FX45 so I know the gas utilization personally. I don't know why the QX56 is lower, but It's actually 14 and 20. keep in mind that's on a 2011 vehicle, which surely has some extra benefits. The FX50 is also 14/20.

What does a G37 have to do with anything? The FX45 is a lot slower, and runs a 15.0 in the 1/4. The camry runs a 14.7, so this race was legit.

Let's put it this way I have and can smoke FX35's there easy because of the 268HP V6 in my Camry I will admit the FX45 is a little harder to beat they are fast they are I should know I have raced a couple myself the ending was close to the video above he had me by about 1 1/2 Car lengths but the FX35 though stands not much of a Chance against the 07 + 3.5L V6

I love my Infiniti, however, those who doubt the '07 and Up Camry V6 have obviously never driven it, or been beside one at a light. The Camry 3.5 will very well smoke the FX45, that's right, 4.5 V8 and all. Those 6 gears, and those 268 horses are eager and willing. FYI: Motortrend Stats: Camry SEV6 0-60 5.8 sec., Infiniti FX45 6.5. Plus, on the top-end, the Camry is an aerodynamic car. I run from 60-110 in my mom's in about 6 heartbeats. Its a beast. My 94 stock Q45 still outruns it though, lol.

You're the moron. Ever wonder what the number designations for Nissan and Infiniti mean? the 350Z and G35 run the VQ35DE/HR 3.5L engines, hence the 350 and 35 designation. The FX45 has the VK45DE, a 4.5L, 335HP, V8. The same one used in the old Q45 and the current M45, hence the 45 designation.

The Camry with 3.5L is really fast... It can take FX35 with no problems at all... I raced FX35 with my Camry (V6 194HP 4-speed auto) & the result was draw... I'm pretty sure that Camry 3.5L can take FX35 easily... FX45 is fast but the AWD will slow it at top speeds & it has less aerodynamic than the Camry since it is larger... Add up all these stuff & the Camry 3.5L will win at high speeds...
