Gary Albright had the real technique and submission and wrestling ability. Bushido was definitely one of the precursors to mma and the UFC. Although the fights may have been scripted they were reality based.

We were both in the UNL. class (no weight limit) in greco and freestyle in the 80's and while we worked out togther and were often in the same tourneys (Midlands, US Open, Concord Inter.
