Shair + Func - The guy, You cannot judge a musician by what he dresses up like. Rock music is all about a simple t-shirt, rugged and torn jeans and whatever you can wear. Lets see what kind of underwear you are wearing, are then judge you on your music. I doubt your wearing CK, so you can suck on my ballsack. I think Blank Noize (no disrespect to the band) and you didn't quite get what Randolph was trying to say. The 'chappal' reference was meant to imply that the band was being a bit too indulgent towards their shoe-gazing (just looking down while playing) and not enough towards their stage act.

Although there are many bands that have made a stage act out of shoe-gazing (eg. The Verve, My Bloody Valentine, Wilco, Yo La Tengo), Blank Noize's current originals don't quite fit the bill for that sorta music. I'd say that was pretty good advice for an upcoming band such as Blank Noize.

Again. I'd like to clarify that this isn't a flame. And a HUGE thanks to faridkotonline for going through the trouble of uploading these videos.

Okay, I agree they dont have a great stage presence but I barely seem to notice any shoe gazing except for a couple of instances where your body reflexes make you look below the horizon. I dont know if you have listened to BlankNoize's albums, but they dont make music like 'Ek Glassy" or better still "Na sir jhuka hai kabhi, aur na jhukaenge kabhi".
