i say a crowd can cheer as loud and as much as they want FOR someone, e.g. Graf or whomever, but should never terrorize a player with boos and trying to mess up their serve and stuff, even if the player is a jerk, unless the player decapitated a chipmunk or something during the match.

Like watching a fantastic drama (movie or play).
Steffi deserved to win, she fought for it till the end,
even when it was 6-4 / 5-4, Hingis serving for the match.

but she went on, wore out Hingis and won majestically.

I mean Vienna is east of Prague, yet Austria is the West, Czechia is the East. Djoković managed to beat this with his showmanship and great tennis. I would tell i was from Prague. They have problems with Romanian immigrants. For weeks I couldn't get anything. Then i thought "fuck that! - their English is bad i will start saying I am of mixed English-Czech origin,mostly living in Britain. Within a day i could choose from 3 different appartments. It happened in Granada, a university town. Young people turned me down just for being from East. It was very humiliating.Luckily, their English sucked :-) I wouldn't want to be black

She won 22?!? Wow! Reemember when she beat Jana Novotna and she cried afterwards. Petra only has 21 to win now .-) Realistically, I think 10 Slams would be fantastic. She could have won at French Open already but started hitting 5 cm behind lines against Li Na. When she gets more stable, she'll be great. She can win big matches, on a good day no one can beat her. i say a crowd can cheer as loud and as much as they want FOR someone, e.g. Graf or whomever, but should never terrorize a player with boos and trying to mess up their serve and stuff, even if the player is a jerk, unless the player decapitated a chipmunk or something during the match.

I can testify that the RG public can be really stupid. I'm french and I was working at RG at the time of the Graf/Hingis final. I don't particularly like Hingis, but the crowd had decided BEFORE the match that Graf should win.
I have to say I think it's not representative of the french people. RG audience is full of wannabes, parisians hipsters, and people that go there just to be seen...

And I made a bet she'd be nr. 1 by the end of the year. Well, I lost, she's nr. 2. I don't get why she's not nr. 1. She won Wimbledon or Masters, six titles in 2011 as many as Wozniacki but Caroline doesn't win the big ones. But she is the new champion and she's to stay.
