Great sound, what mics did you use???...excellent sound man!, and my last question, are the Liquid mix Emulation close to the hardware, let's say the Neve 1073??...Cheers man!
@wizprodux Thanks for the quick answer!!...would you recommend a Focusrite Liqud Saffire Interface??...considering you use the Liquid plugins...Cheers!...great Channel!!!
@cordokiller If you're tracking, the Liquid Pres wouldn't hurt. However, I'm not too impressed with the stock Pres on the Saffire Pro unit.
In my own opinion, the M-Audio ProFire2626 has better converters than Focusrite and if you have some extra money, get a pair of boutique Pres (Vintech, Calreq, Millenia, etc...)
I like the Focsrite D2 and D3, but they're not the same as the ones Focusrite has. These were done back in the Digi days...
I was going to try something similar with other plug-ins after reading a thread on GS. Never tried or even thought about doing it with Heat. Thumbs up, man.
you have noe idea that you idea. if you have a bunch of knobs it doesnt mean you have t you them all...

@cordokiller nothing spectacular. SM57 on Snare, D12 on Kick, Sputnik on Room Mic, 414's on Overheads

I dont understand if youve got a trim plug afterwards? Or is heat set on pre-fader?
richardgaas 9 months ago
@richardgaas In this video I used HEAT in POST-INSERT mode. So that the trim on the Neve plug-in drives HEAT into distortion

really warms things up... sound punchier especially when you drove the kick with some dB gain... is it real analogy? nope!
But does it deliver better than a simple ol' sterile digital, you betcha!!!

@TheExplodingBit With other plug-ins you'd have to monitor them constantly, whereas HEAT's global setting makes it easy to set it and forget it!
