it might be a different race with the AP2 2004+ S2000's they have alittle more torque with 2.2 liter engines and have alittle bit closer gear ratios on 1-4 compared to AP1's. Good race btw.
Both cars are respectable in their own class/right. I personally love the sound of that vtec cam kicking in but personally would rather drive the mustang for the torque and v8 sound... great race though and thanks for filming it and sharing!!

Every time I race one of these in my 2000 GT it's just like this, give or take maybe 1/2 a car length. Surprised me the first time. It's an interesting duel. More torque more weight vs. less weight less torque.
