The only time Germans and Russians have ever gotten along was the Great Coalition against Napoleon. Be realistic buddy, Germany will never initiate an alliance with Russia. Besides, US forces are slowly withdrawing from Europe anyway. The US has already made agreements to hand over its bases in Germany to the Bundeswehr.

The Polish government needs to stop being so whiny. Putting more troops in Poland would just increase the likelihood of a Russian attack; which there is no reason to believe that the likelihood at the moment is very high.

Yes, termanology, the US payes them, or rather was going to pay them for the anti missile shield installation on Polish territory. As this is not going to happen, Poles are angered and frustrated. Plus, there is a psychological bonus of a rather unevolved kind - a good old neighbourly vendetta. You know, like placing your rubbish bin close to your neighbour's windows - great satisfaction can be derived from that ! (for certain kind of people)

Have you studied History of Europe? Last time Russian troops were in Poland was in 1945, to liberate it from nazis. We are now in 2009, for your information. Why doesn't France ask troops to protect itself from Germans? They've been under ocupation ! And don't mix up things - Mao is Mao, Putin is Putin. By the way, Putin wasn't the Head of KGB in any sense. Just an ordinary spy, working in Germany. Poland is just desperately clinging to its "victim" status to get benifits of all kinds.

Also in 1939 when Germany Invaded Poland it is conveniently forgotten that USSR had a Treaty with Hitler and Invaded Poland from the East at the Same time. BTW USSR DIDN'T Liberate Poland from the Nazi's - It was an Invasion. Google " Katyn Forest massacre"
Also when The Polish Unions striked, USSR Sent Soviet Troops in...

Did this make Europe occupied?As for 1939, Stalin did what he did with anyone who crossed his path regardless the nationality , Polish were not exeption. Stalinism was condemned in 1956 by Khrushev. And now we are in 2009 ! As for when Polish union striked - what about it? Russian troops entered Czecoslovakia in 1967, but never Poland. And Jaruselski was Polish own product. You get your facts straight.
