I have mixed feeling about this exhibit:

I do think that it IS cool to see actual human bodies, and to learn what is inside and what happens to it if you smoke, etc.

I really do not know what to believe in for the next part, because so many people have said so many things about it! If they took the bodies without permission, that is absolutely wrong and no one should do that. If the people gave the scientists permission, well, than I guess that it ok.... I really dont know!

Von Hagens is awesome. If not for his work, not many people would have a clue about there bodies... to visit for education or entertainment is not wrong... they are exhibits for crying out load (Dreambro1) to be dis-respectful to the art and others there is another thing. This is so grotesque. Discovering ancient mummies like those caucasian mummies of 4000 years ago is an educational tour as it debunk an otherwise long-held belief that west and east never met again after they went separate ways from middle east out of africa. But this preservation is not the forces of nature but done for commercial gains.

I went to the exhibition in Tokyo 5 years ago. I saw more than 30 specimens including a fetus in a dissected whom. But I wasn't able to tell the races of the bodies at all except for only one that was obviously an Afro man.
