@AgimA74 With respect to the Indians: The numerals were adopted FROM the Arabs, hence the name. You're right, I might have overreacted (FYI telling someone that apologizing is the "right thing" is a bit comic. What are we, kindergartners?) but asking the question "What can Arabs be proud of?" is the very example writing out of ignorance, something you accuse me of. Read a bit about the middle-eastern civilizations, will you?
@Commodore4life Europe got the numerals, AFAIK, from muslims and not arabs. The ones that invaded Spain, were mostly berbers and syrians, not arabs (yes, syrians aren't really arabs). "To do the right thing" has nothing to do with "kindergarten", but to be an honest person, if you see that you made an error, you ought to apologize. I still ask, what do the arabs can be proud of? For inventing an hyper-irrational creed? I conceed that almost all creeds are irrational, save buddhism, but islam...
@AgimA74 Creeds are only guidelines of ancient manuscripts. eg. If the holier-than-thou Americans really held the Bible's words, now THAT would produce some interesting changes. That said, I know quite a few Arabs, who are wise and see the world from an intelligent point of view. It's the radicalism (and prejudice from the other side) that makes a religion's creed a weapon. You said Buddhism is an exception. Just look at Burma, and what Ne Win did in the name of Buddhism.
@Commodore4life It depends on which part, the Old Testament (which every christian has to disregard) encourages like the Qu'ran murder and injustice. The New Testament is quite a different story though. As for "creed" I'm writing here about the main message of the religion/mindset. Buddhism doesn't encourage mass murder or injustice (it encourages neutrality and self-conaigsance), nor does the New Testament (loving God). On the other hand, Islam, Judaism, in their core belief, are misanthropic.
@Commodore4life Of course there are arabs that are aware that the arab-muslims cannot continue like this. That they've fallen behind almost everyone (save the Kombai cannibals). They have become consumers of modernity while at the same time rejecting humanist values and producing, nothing but oil (excepting Turkey and Iran). The muslim mindset today, is a herd mentality (way more than the McDonalds society), doesn't encourage individuality, literacy and compassion towards the fellow human being.
@AgimA74 Disregarding the Old Testament would render the whole Bible pointless, hence you can't, and have to accept the fact that the Old Testament God was a vengeful and carnivorous deity.
Much like Allah in the Qu'ran.
So narrow minded christians aren't that different from fanatized muslims (just look at the Crusades), only the latter has the tendency to hold the same zeal today. I keep to my former statement: If twisted words find the right ears, creeds can easily be turned into weapons.
@Commodore4life And the concept of the numerals we call arabic, comes from the region we nowadays call India, the persians (not the arabs) introduced it to the muslim world. Al Ghwasim even wrote a book named "On the Calculation with Hindu Numerals". If you're openminded to mind-boggling stuff, I recommend to read the Rigveddas and early collection of Indo-Aryan literature.

i love the music, but i don't want to live on the medieval ages, there's no internet on that time..no friggin YOUTUBE to watch some beauty music like this...
@tony1234872 Not true at all.Bagpipes were played in europe long before the crusades.
Know your history.islam has nothing to do with it.But what I do see is more and more european heritage is contributed to other races and religions.Real bad mistake.Knowledge is power. Not listening to someone and believe it without research. But hey who cares?C'mon!
@Frankie3112Nld agreed. Actually islam had a big influence on european medieval music, but mainly on some percursion instruments and some vocal arrangements . The iberian peninsula´s musical tradition is a good proof of that
@nyckelwound True, the Moors brought along some instruments off course. But I have to disagree when it comes to the rest of europe which is much larger than that piece of Spain you're referring to.And do not forget the ages long before outside influences.
Europe has culture beyond our knowledge today.A lot of our ancestors achievements are slowly contributed to others which is almost as bad as blasphemy.
Stay true and stick to your history and take pride in it.
@Frankie3112Nld i take much pride in my historic past, if i didnt, i wouldnt be taking an history major in my university. And yes i have to agree with your statement when you say that European culture has roots in spatial times beyound our knowledge today. Still, we cant look at our Continent as a completely sedated box. It wasnt never like that, not even in the middle ages (where the contribute of the muslim world affected several parts of the continent, and not only in the iberian peninsula!
@nyckelwound That is what worries me.In school and in universities people are told this non sense about islam. They never came further than mid France.Only that occasion.Beware you do not believe what your taught.I studied history ass well but I stopped when I found out true history is not been taught but a distorted history mixed with little or no facts to comfort our new 'european' muslim friends.Beware I say. It's a conspiracy, damn straight.Wake up!And now the real roots..Rome.
@Frankie3112Nld Muslims had a golden age during the Middle Age, like Rome before. Therefore it is logical that they had a lot of influences on their European neighbours. The influence of Al Andalus, for example, was enormous in several domains. History has always been exchanges between different states, empires, cultures, etc. Muslims themselves owed their knowledge and power largely to Roman, Greek, Persian, etc. heritage.
@Almanzzor Very true, but I was referring to the times before those (muslim) invasions. It's widely known that britain was never conquered though they are famous for their highland bagpipes.
Instruments are inventions of men not religions.
History teaches us a lot.Just look upon the matter and you'll see what I mean about this particular instrument.
@Frankie3112Nld Ok. Indeed bagpipes aren't a muslim invention at all. It existed centuries before the apparition of Islam in different parts of the world.
@Almanzzor The so called Golden age of Islam, wasn't really any Golden age of Islam. In preislamic Arabia, the bedouines are only known for their poetry. Not their music, not their songs, not any science or philosophy. Most of the big scientistists, artists, poets etcetera, from the "Golden age of Islam", where infact not muslim, and many of them very hostile to Islam. The only islamic or arabic thing about this period was that muslims had invaded and conquered their civilisations.
@tobleronasahliv Please shut up and open some history books. I have rarely seen such an idiot. Weren't Avicenna, Averroes, Ibn Khaldun, Al-Kindi, Ibn Arabî, Avempace, Al-Ghazâlî, Abubacer, Ibn Sab'in, Abulcasis, Ibn Hazm, etc. Muslims (and Arab for most of them) ?
@Almanzzor Avicenna was Persian, not Arab, and Persians were miles ahead of Bedouin Arabs, with their knowledge that came from the Greco-Roman, Persian and Indian treasures of mathematical systems, astronomy, algebra, trigonometry and medicine, Averroes was Spanish and is known for translating Aristotles and Plato, as was Avicenna. Ibn Khaldun most probably was Muladi, a Spaniard. al-Kindi was Arab, famous for introducing Greek philosophy to the Muslim world. ibn Arabi had a Spanish
@Almanzzor ... father and Berber mother. Avempace was Spaniard, also mostly famous for his studies of Greek science. al-Ghazâlî was Persian. Not sure about Abubacer, but nothing says he was Arab. Ibn Sab'in was a Moroccan (arab?), mostly famous for his knowledge about religions. Abulcasis was indeed Arab, the world’s foremost surgeon at the time, highly inspired by the Greeks, as all the others. Ibn Hazm was Muslim, as his father had converted, but as so many of the others not an Arab.
@Almanzzor And those where the ones you spoke of. F.e. you could have mentioned the Christian, Hunain ibn Ishaq, the most important translator of Greek science to Arabic. Manichaeist, Ibn al-Muqaffa, one of "the creators of Arabic prose”. The Persian, Ar-Razi, the single most famous representant of "Islamic science" who hated Islam and denied Muhammed was a prophet… You see desert Arabs, real arabs, didn’t teach nonmuslims almost anything, all they did was invading, sucking up their knowledge.
@Almanzzor And if it had been Muslim Arabs who had "civilized the world with their knowledge", why are almost every person you named someone living in Spain? Why not civilize your own part of the world that haven't even been civilized yet? I hope you understand that the Saudis still would be living in the Stone Age if nonmuslims hadn't taught them to dig up the oil in the ground? Yeah, what exactly have the Muslim world exported in the last 1000 years other than oil, terror and Lupin beans?
@tobleronasahliv Ouga ouga ! Do you want a banana ? Andalusis were Muslim and often Arab. Al Andalus is an Arab islamic creation. Open a book please ! You are incredibly idiot.
Which i have. Do you know that Greece annually translates 5 times more books from English than the entire Arab world combined? That 65 million Arab adults are illiterate? That the total number of books translated into Arabic during the last 1,000 years, is less than those translated in Spain every year. It is not we who need to pick up a book, or should I say; many books.
@Almanzzor “The Golden age of Islam” is a lie created by Jews for use in critizing the Wests recent illtreatment of them, which was picked up by nazi-islamists to attack Israel, claiming that they ruined earlier “peaceful coexistence”. A falsarium now beeing used by leftists and globalists to brainwash Europeans into believing that the Muslim invasion that’s ruining our countries, actually is something good, while boosting the self-esteem of Arabs otherwise ashamed over their backwardness.
@tobleronasahliv Shut your ass. Open some books and stop reading the craps of "nationalist" websites submitted to the International Jew and to "Israel". Don't spam me anymore with your craps.
@Almanzzor Yeah see, thats exactly how tolerant you Muslims are towards Jews. Semi-nazis all of you. Racist, dishonest, no contact with reality and a multitude of evil, ludacris tin-foil conspiracy theories, specifically about Jews and the USA.
And then you talk about the (fake) tolerance of "Muslim Spain", the "Golden age" utopia bullshit where Jews flourished.
You are a threat to every value and achievment you unjustly take credit for, the biggest threat of all.
@tobleronasahliv And look how submissives to the Jew bastards like you are. All Western world is being destroyed by the Jews and you go on sucking their dicks. The Jewish domination, a ridiculous conspiracy theory ? So Wall Street, the FED, the AIPAC, etc. don't exist ? What annoys me with people like you, is your absence of honesty, common sense and reason. Now let me alone. Perhaps you thought that I could give you a remedy against your stupidity, but sorry I haven't anything.
@tobleronasahliv AIPAC is the second largest lobby in the United States, 13 Jewish Senators, 33 Members in the House, 2/9 Supreme Court Justices, Every Hollywood studio (they created Hollywood), Former/Current Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke, Owner of Disney, CEO of Time Warner, Touchstone, Miramax, Lifetime, all the while comprising less than 3% of the population. There's even a documentary about it featuring Harvard political scientists detailing the obvious, JEWS HAVE AMERICA BY THE BALLS!
@botchalism Because they work harder, educate themselves more, and are more intelligent than others. Why is it their fault that you don't do as much of your life?
@tobleronasahliv There are more educated non Jews than Jews, countless brilliant minds of others races and and yet Jews have monopolized power. That is the power of being a cohesive minority, they've got the good ole boy system of hooking up their buddies with jobs. If they are so smart than they shouldn't need the billions of dollars we donate to them every year, Israel isn't even a poor country. Gotta give them more money/weapons so they can steal more Palestinian land, great strategy!
@gimelim Did I say they couldn't compose good music? Your post is completely unrelated to my comments, read the comments before responding dumb ass ¬¬
@nyckelwound Yeah you really know what you are talking about - you are brainwashed in political correctness - thats all. In 50 or so years, much of Europe most problably will be Muslim, and your statement would be like crediting modern European civilisation to Islam when Europeans are a minority.
All muslims did was invading other people, sucking up their knowledge and spreading it, have you heard about the Persians, Byzantion, the Greeks, and Romans etc? Do you keven now what a real Arab is?
@Frankie3112Nld (continuing) In fact, there is proof that interchanges were frequent between the muslim world and northern europe). Instruments as the lute were a transformation of the muslim oud for example, And i take pride in this strong Europe, with a good system of values and a honourfull tradition. But europe is also a stage for interexchangeable cultures.
Great to see more people interested in great music!
There would be a LOT more vegetarians in this country if the only way to get meat was to butcher it yourself. Life-and-Death is alive and well in 21st century America, but among our many great blessings is the fact that we rarely have to witness it in our everyday lives. In the middle ages, people who survived the fray at Congresswoman Gifford's shooting would have walked away and got on with the business of subsisting. Today the entire nation is traumatized. That's a GOOD thing!
Boy, there sure is some heavy romanticizing of the past going on in these comments. The deep beauty you think was present in the past is coming from your own perception of it, not from the time itself. For people who lived then, it was just normal. And they even romanticized their past the same way you do yours. Living close to death only seems beautiful from a distance. You wouldn't think it was so wonderful if you actually had to live in it.
@VigisKane -- sure, hence all the references to "Moors" in Shakespearean sonnets and plays, as well as works by Christopher Marlowe... and lets not forget that Pope Victor I, Pope Miltiades and Pope Gelasius I were all born in the Roman provinces of North Africa. Oh, and the legend of Morien, the adventure of a heroic Moorish knight supposed to have lived during the days of King Arthur, describes Morien as "all black: his head, his body, and his hands were all black."
if i lived during the medieval ages i would be a bad smelling drunkard archer spending all the money melord gave me in women and cheap wine..hahahaha!
Umm, I would too love to visit the Middle Ages, but that time was pure shit, full of ignorance and crap - don't get me wrong, I'm very intrigued by it, but still, something tells me that my life would a shithole during those times....
@xAcxDcx , yeah, most probably. Unless you were born a high noble, got a good rank in the church or even joined the Inquisition...For all these life was but not that bad even back then.
@Davccelion For everybody it was mate, I mean sure you lived much better if you were noble and such, but medical wise, you would suffer a lot because there weren't that many efficient pain relievers, etc.
@mxago9 when people freak out about the amount of dislikes a video has, I automatically click dislike just to be spiteful. Out of 63,306 people who have watched this, 2 people didn't like it? boo fucking hoo.
So beautiful music, awesome. I feel the culture shock as a Chinese. This is so different from musics from our culture, though they are all beautiful, they have their own beauties in different ways. Simply awesome.
Awesome music but....the thing about middle ages - yes i also like to learn about stuff like castles, weapons but on the other side - it was a crazy period of time - people were peasants or warriors...a lot of unknown diseases...a lot of stupid killings related to witches. But it was good that people were way stronger in a physical way that time and were eating healthy food...nowadays you would see a fat guy coming out of macdonalds. I d write more on this but no more symbols left lol =)
Too bad it is not the original thing, just a interpretation with a modern mind you come up with medieval house LMAO !

@Frankie3112Nld actually early music originated from Islam, but hey-who cares, it's great.
tony1234872 8 months ago
@tony1234872 Not true at all.Bagpipes were played in europe long before the crusades.
Know your history.islam has nothing to do with it.But what I do see is more and more european heritage is contributed to other races and religions.Real bad mistake.Knowledge is power. Not listening to someone and believe it without research. But hey who cares?C'mon!
Frankie3112Nld 8 months ago
@Frankie3112Nld agreed. Actually islam had a big influence on european medieval music, but mainly on some percursion instruments and some vocal arrangements . The iberian peninsula´s musical tradition is a good proof of that
nyckelwound 8 months ago
@nyckelwound True, the Moors brought along some instruments off course. But I have to disagree when it comes to the rest of europe which is much larger than that piece of Spain you're referring to.And do not forget the ages long before outside influences.
Europe has culture beyond our knowledge today.A lot of our ancestors achievements are slowly contributed to others which is almost as bad as blasphemy.
Stay true and stick to your history and take pride in it.
Europe
Frankie3112Nld 8 months ago
@Frankie3112Nld i take much pride in my historic past, if i didnt, i wouldnt be taking an history major in my university. And yes i have to agree with your statement when you say that European culture has roots in spatial times beyound our knowledge today. Still, we cant look at our Continent as a completely sedated box. It wasnt never like that, not even in the middle ages (where the contribute of the muslim world affected several parts of the continent, and not only in the iberian peninsula!
nyckelwound 8 months ago
@nyckelwound That is what worries me.In school and in universities people are told this non sense about islam. They never came further than mid France.Only that occasion.Beware you do not believe what your taught.I studied history ass well but I stopped when I found out true history is not been taught but a distorted history mixed with little or no facts to comfort our new 'european' muslim friends.Beware I say. It's a conspiracy, damn straight.Wake up!And now the real roots..Rome.
God bless
Frankie3112Nld 8 months ago
@Frankie3112Nld Muslims had a golden age during the Middle Age, like Rome before. Therefore it is logical that they had a lot of influences on their European neighbours. The influence of Al Andalus, for example, was enormous in several domains. History has always been exchanges between different states, empires, cultures, etc. Muslims themselves owed their knowledge and power largely to Roman, Greek, Persian, etc. heritage.
Almanzzor 8 months ago
@Almanzzor Very true, but I was referring to the times before those (muslim) invasions. It's widely known that britain was never conquered though they are famous for their highland bagpipes.
Instruments are inventions of men not religions.
History teaches us a lot.Just look upon the matter and you'll see what I mean about this particular instrument.
Frankie3112Nld 8 months ago
@Frankie3112Nld Ok. Indeed bagpipes aren't a muslim invention at all. It existed centuries before the apparition of Islam in different parts of the world.
Almanzzor 8 months ago

Almanzzor 7 months ago
@Almanzzor Avicenna was Persian, not Arab, and Persians were miles ahead of Bedouin Arabs, with their knowledge that came from the Greco-Roman, Persian and Indian treasures of mathematical systems, astronomy, algebra, trigonometry and medicine, Averroes was Spanish and is known for translating Aristotles and Plato, as was Avicenna. Ibn Khaldun most probably was Muladi, a Spaniard. al-Kindi was Arab, famous for introducing Greek philosophy to the Muslim world. ibn Arabi had a Spanish
tobleronasahliv 7 months ago
@Almanzzor ... father and Berber mother. Avempace was Spaniard, also mostly famous for his studies of Greek science. al-Ghazâlî was Persian. Not sure about Abubacer, but nothing says he was Arab. Ibn Sab'in was a Moroccan (arab?), mostly famous for his knowledge about religions. Abulcasis was indeed Arab, the world’s foremost surgeon at the time, highly inspired by the Greeks, as all the others. Ibn Hazm was Muslim, as his father had converted, but as so many of the others not an Arab.
tobleronasahliv 7 months ago
@Almanzzor And those where the ones you spoke of. F.e. you could have mentioned the Christian, Hunain ibn Ishaq, the most important translator of Greek science to Arabic. Manichaeist, Ibn al-Muqaffa, one of "the creators of Arabic prose”. The Persian, Ar-Razi, the single most famous representant of "Islamic science" who hated Islam and denied Muhammed was a prophet… You see desert Arabs, real arabs, didn’t teach nonmuslims almost anything, all they did was invading, sucking up their knowledge.
tobleronasahliv 7 months ago
@Almanzzor And if it had been Muslim Arabs who had "civilized the world with their knowledge", why are almost every person you named someone living in Spain? Why not civilize your own part of the world that haven't even been civilized yet? I hope you understand that the Saudis still would be living in the Stone Age if nonmuslims hadn't taught them to dig up the oil in the ground? Yeah, what exactly have the Muslim world exported in the last 1000 years other than oil, terror and Lupin beans?
tobleronasahliv 7 months ago
@tobleronasahliv Ouga ouga ! Do you want a banana ? Andalusis were Muslim and often Arab. Al Andalus is an Arab islamic creation. Open a book please ! You are incredibly idiot.
Almanzzor 7 months ago
Which i have. Do you know that Greece annually translates 5 times more books from English than the entire Arab world combined? That 65 million Arab adults are illiterate? That the total number of books translated into Arabic during the last 1,000 years, is less than those translated in Spain every year. It is not we who need to pick up a book, or should I say; many books.
tobleronasahliv 7 months ago
@Almanzzor “The Golden age of Islam” is a lie created by Jews for use in critizing the Wests recent illtreatment of them, which was picked up by nazi-islamists to attack Israel, claiming that they ruined earlier “peaceful coexistence”. A falsarium now beeing used by leftists and globalists to brainwash Europeans into believing that the Muslim invasion that’s ruining our countries, actually is something good, while boosting the self-esteem of Arabs otherwise ashamed over their backwardness.
tobleronasahliv 7 months ago
@tobleronasahliv Shut your ass. Open some books and stop reading the craps of "nationalist" websites submitted to the International Jew and to "Israel". Don't spam me anymore with your craps.
Almanzzor 7 months ago
@Almanzzor Yeah see, thats exactly how tolerant you Muslims are towards Jews. Semi-nazis all of you. Racist, dishonest, no contact with reality and a multitude of evil, ludacris tin-foil conspiracy theories, specifically about Jews and the USA.
And then you talk about the (fake) tolerance of "Muslim Spain", the "Golden age" utopia bullshit where Jews flourished.
You are a threat to every value and achievment you unjustly take credit for, the biggest threat of all.
tobleronasahliv 7 months ago
@tobleronasahliv And look how submissives to the Jew bastards like you are. All Western world is being destroyed by the Jews and you go on sucking their dicks. The Jewish domination, a ridiculous conspiracy theory ? So Wall Street, the FED, the AIPAC, etc. don't exist ? What annoys me with people like you, is your absence of honesty, common sense and reason. Now let me alone. Perhaps you thought that I could give you a remedy against your stupidity, but sorry I haven't anything.
Almanzzor 7 months ago
@tobleronasahliv AIPAC is the second largest lobby in the United States, 13 Jewish Senators, 33 Members in the House, 2/9 Supreme Court Justices, Every Hollywood studio (they created Hollywood), Former/Current Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke, Owner of Disney, CEO of Time Warner, Touchstone, Miramax, Lifetime, all the while comprising less than 3% of the population. There's even a documentary about it featuring Harvard political scientists detailing the obvious, JEWS HAVE AMERICA BY THE BALLS!
botchalism 7 months ago
@botchalism Because they work harder, educate themselves more, and are more intelligent than others. Why is it their fault that you don't do as much of your life?
tobleronasahliv 7 months ago
@tobleronasahliv There are more educated non Jews than Jews, countless brilliant minds of others races and and yet Jews have monopolized power. That is the power of being a cohesive minority, they've got the good ole boy system of hooking up their buddies with jobs. If they are so smart than they shouldn't need the billions of dollars we donate to them every year, Israel isn't even a poor country. Gotta give them more money/weapons so they can steal more Palestinian land, great strategy!

botchalism 6 months ago
@nyckelwound Yeah you really know what you are talking about - you are brainwashed in political correctness - thats all. In 50 or so years, much of Europe most problably will be Muslim, and your statement would be like crediting modern European civilisation to Islam when Europeans are a minority.
All muslims did was invading other people, sucking up their knowledge and spreading it, have you heard about the Persians, Byzantion, the Greeks, and Romans etc? Do you keven now what a real Arab is?
tobleronasahliv 7 months ago
