I actually work at a domino's and this is exactly how our store is run, everyone is always worried about times, and we actually do great service, we are always there when we say we will be, our pizza is the best does not taste like RAT SHIT. lol the only real problem with OUR dominos is the pay....we make them soooo much money, they could pay us at least another dollar per hour.

Domino's is just another company. I recently quit my job there (would have been 3 years in April) and while it is fun to slap dough - it isn't a very well-paying job. Drivers of course make the most simply because, at least at my store, they get $1.45 per run + tips + hourly.

Btw we don't usually toss the dough into the air - that's just for show.

Work there in delivery and enjoy it quite a bit. I used to work at Papa John's way back when and enjoyed it too. The thing about Dominos, though, is they aren't so obsessed with every minute detail that it sucks all the joy out of the job. Papa John's was. I definitely like my job and I make lots of money doing it. Good for anyone who likes to be on the road a lot (delivery) like I do, but doesn't want to drive a truck.

my drivers make mroe than i do ! if they got paid mroe it would be out rageous. i make about 9 bucks an hour ok, they make about 5 at my store, 5 dollars an hour plus three delivs an hou average tip of about 4 bucks ok, 4x3 = 12+5 = 17 an hour. thats low end on my store too. some drivers walk out with a hundo in tips every week end day plus 9 hours or less of driving. ON TOP OF THAT their checks look almost like mine. I have TO MAKE PREP, MANAGE stay late come early and make split decissions,

The corporation started a new out the door within 15 minutes policy (only a certain percentage has to be out the door that quick), but they had to turn the ovens up and shorten the cook time to make it most of the time. I think our pizza sucks now because of it.

Pizza isn't fast food and I wish people understood that. Would you rather have a good pizza that's properly done or a rushed pizza that tastes like crap?
